Description
Welcome to the U.S.S. (insert name here). The Constitution Class Refit a.k.a. the Enterprise Class. Made famous by the original 6 films. This is a 1:1 scale model built from scratch, using a long list of MODs from the workshop, and as accurately as SE will allow. 305 meters long this WIP may cause some lag. There are two ships currently in this world. I go back and forth between to test for optimal perfomance. So Function equals form. Recommend deleting one if lag becomes an issue. They are the same ship, but do differ in some design aspects as I hash the best details to leave in. Plan to do updates regularly until complete.

Features Include.

-Warp Drive with glowing warp coils (Gav-Drive)
-Impluse Drive (via warp drive mod blocks)

Top speed last checked at 105.9 mps in less than 10 seconds using warp, dampners off, full impluse thrust "W" at same time.

-Turbolifts/gravity-elevators (primary hull only for now_incomplete)
-Auto-docking-lights at all airlocks (except the Main Gangway Hatchs)
-Working Nav-lights
-Working Strobes
-Red Alert (activates weapons systems and red flashing lights - Bridge only for now)
-Accurate Phaser placement
-Photon Torpedoes (rocket launchers) with red glow
-Glowing Impulse and Warp Nacelle crystals
-Glowing/pulsing Warp Core
-Custom lit Deflector Dish with Standard Blue or Orange stand-by mode from TMP
-Custom Paint job (incomplete)
-Ore detectors in sensor dome at bottom of saucer
-Emergency Saucer Seperation
-Shuttle bay (no doors as the ship is so fast they rip off every time)

-Second ship has same features plus an ejectable warp core (small ship with pulsing lights)
This is less reliable as connector and landing gear are not as strong as a merge block. That said should someone make a merge block that would allow samll ships to merge with large ones, i would have used it and it would work better.

There is also a copy of that warp core floating around near by if you want to have a look.

I've left them unnamed so you can give them what ever name you want.

(coolcat if your still around just disreguard this) TM This world is actually old and will not be able to be loaded in due to the verison of the game and file format.

You should update this. I tried to load it and it is corrupted. I think this is an awesome build.

I honestly don't remember. This is a rather old build. If you open the edit settings to view the mod list I'm sure you'll be able to find it. It's either the "Advanced Gyro" or "250+ Gyro", maybe both.

Testkill I used modded gyros. Since the vanilla game only takes place 55 years from now. Modded and more advanced blocks and tech are needed to reach the 200 years further. A time this ship would come from.

how did you avoid using them? and making your ship flyable with a decent fps?

Yeah I've noticed the same thing with Gyros Testkill. I don't know if it's a poly-count thing or what.

i was making a very big emissary class ship with full interiors after i started putting gyroscopes my game came to 10 fps :p
