I don't know if you adjusted these textures based on those older textures, but I think it would be better as the current ones in-game. A lot of weapons lost a lot of details due to the implementation of the Decorated / War Paint system.
Yes, a couple things would be require changing for the War Paints to work, but, I think there might be a good balance where colors don't look so off, and details don't disappear.
It seems this pack is more-in-line with the pre-Gun Mettle stuff, but I'm wondering if the Flamethrower handle matches the Backburner again.
The new detail actually reminded me of this HLMV problem, as it looked quite similar. This problem doesn't happen on HLMV++, and it's the same problem as the eyes of the mercenaries appearing as grey.
TF2 characters' hands being huge doesn't change the ability of metal to look less like plastic.
