I played base game on veteran, and it felt easy, so i started playing expert with Xavorion

Among other changes yes, Xavorion is much more difficult. Easy is recommended if you've played base game on Expert.

Yes, tech level will still increase as you move to the center. Don't worry about those materials, whole progression system has changed to "ship based", instead of "distance based". There's also an adaptive difficulty system here - meaning, you don't have to grind to beat raw numbers of enemies in this region. It's more important to have a balanced ship build and sometimes specialized ships in your fleet/formation.

But, there's a "Linear Material Progression" mod if you really want forced distance-based progression from base game.

Regardless, I'd suggest trying this mod on new galaxy at Beginner difficulty - you'll start with a ship strong enough to just play and check how things actually work.

Is it true that the average level of opponents/tech level will increase as you move towards the center of the galaxy(I have seen xanion and ogonite mining zones on the outskirts of the galaxy)?

Yeah, you need to edit text file in game folder ( data\shaders\ gridplane.frag )
(backup that file first - any typo here will cause game crash)

Replace line #25 to this:

Not sure where to ask for the RTS element but is there a way to get rid of the flat plane 2d texture that really bothers me in RTS mode...

Encounters, Weapons - yes, those heavily depend on features that dont exist in base game.(Or would not make any sense in base game)

Some can be disabled for Xavorion, some can enabled for Vanilla - depends on what you're looking for. There was an answer already at FAQ discussions - since it was too long to fit into comment, here's a link (3rd post from top).

Then I have no idea what's going on, if that still happens on fresh save.
What's worse is that I dont have those issues on much weaker gaming rig than yours,
and havent seen them on streams either.

The standard procedure would be disabling background apps that could choke the game, or even drivers reinstall.
Trying without Twitch/OBS/Wallpaper Engine, or anything else that has GPU/Video support/usage would be my first check.

You can ask in Avorion forums/discord, maybe others had/have similiar issues?

That one can be ignored, if nothing else shows up - I'd check a save copy without other mods, compare frame times to make sure if that changes anything.

every time something spawns no clue whut this means

I see, you can check serverlog for errors - maybe something is spamming and reducing performance.

If that's not the case - I'd recommend making a copy of that galaxy - then check those frame spikes with all other mods disabled.

i had FPS graph turned on so its easyer to see but this was only small groups but it shows the issue (sound might be little loud)

That's strange. You don't have DevMode enabled in mods settings right? ( It should be ticked off )

Any script/mod can cause lags, not only spawn related( learned this the hard way )
Last content update patch had massive performance improvements,
I don't think its possible to get lower than that.

@LM13 i am running I9-13900KS with 2080TI and DDR5-6400 RAM and i have a decent stutter with no faction packs
it is posible other mods cause but pretty much everything i have is your set
+ some new missions and SDKs tech subsystem pack notting that should have anythign to do with spawning

There should be no lag spikes anymore, unless you're using Faction Packs with high block count ships.
That, or some other mods lagging.

There's only a minor stutter when ships warp in on Ryzen 2600, nothing that would impact gameplay.
Should be almost same as vanilla.

Mods that have Xavorion listed as requirement will need all 15 mods and fresh save.
Those that can be safely added to existing saves are:

CombatAI, Docking, Flight Physics, Formations

Class System can be added, but it cannot be uninstalled without breaking already spawned ships.
If you want to try it - backup your save file.

soo not sure if its this mod but is it posible this mod is cause massive lag spikes when enemys warp in i cna see the warp shockwaves than a huge lagg spike hist as the enemys render in as they spawn as a cube and than change to new ship forms(they also immunne for while) i just wondering if there is a solution to stop this caus with how many waves i need to fight on avarage its beginning to be a huge bother specialy when new wave warps in while still fighting the old wave i know its hollidays time i dont expect any big workd done just trowing out ideas and troubles

Most likely, enabling new sector generator on existing saves will just break them in one way or another.
I'll probably have to fill in description pages before planned update. Only main mod page has any info on that.

@LM13 I'm pretty sure I had sectors installed. It might have been because it was loaded onto a galaxy that was previously unmodded.

This is a bug that appears when you use Encounters without new Sectors / SectorGenerator modules, or have otherwise broken Xavorion setup.

Might I ask a question? Why the [Fifty Percent Off] are there so many? Its only been like half an hour and my sector is flooded with ship. They aren't even hostile, they aren't even doing anything, they're just taking up Processing power.

Currently, all missions based on Extra Ship Classes Core don't work.
I'll test for possible compatibility before releasing next update.
If that works, at least some support will be added.

Would the spawning work with ESCC and mods like Core Encounters, Lords of the Waste etc? That add new bosses and things?

Since I have been having issues with pirates and things not spawning when doing combat missions like disrupt pirate attack.

I know it doesn't work with prototype dreadnaught from the new missions mod. But not sure on the others.

Thanks, what was important is that those are Merchant ships, and I did not expect that.
This is a bug that I'll have to fix. (Though it only appears when using some modules instead of full overhaul.)

nahh ill create a new galaxy since ive not progresseg too far only 20 ships and 2 day playtrime should not be anoying but ill leave it be couse have an other save whit an farguut class battleship but cant really play anymore my own sector has pover 500+ ships + mine and the traders its laggy so to avoid spawning more i had to pause that save the names almost in the same pattern like (name-most of then beginning whit I )-(Merchant -M1-M2 -or Light or Medium) these kind ships whit al differnt naming still standing around and they wont get away the classes and stuff mostly matches only the name and shape differs often

Ah, you've found a bug when not using full overhaul. What are the names of those ships that spawn? Maybe there's no need to start over just yet.

wait youre saying sectorgen is cleaning up well i use only the scriptsframework, fleet gen, encounters, combat ai , vessel classes whitout any other of your mods if sector gen is cleaning up i should consider adding that but i thing for that i need to make a new save ... again :(

This has to be a mod conflict. Empty sectors can bug out like this, but not others.

Issue like this was present some time ago - but Sector Generator cleans up every sector once you visit it. What are the names of those ships? Consignors? Merchants? Something else?
