is this mod also on the Nexus at some other name perhaps?
KoTenila Jan 20 @ 12:24pm
and it doesn't work with some of the orders on the ship. Everything has to be cancelled so it can fly away for repairs.
Chillmatica  [author] Jan 20 @ 11:12am
Thanks KoTenila. When I originally made the mod, the ships would seek out any available and appropriate repair dock whether station, carrier, aux, whatever. It's possible since version 6 they changes the underlying order for this and now it's only same-sector. Bummer if so.
KoTenila Jan 15 @ 4:35pm
it works. conditions - repair dock or supply ship must be in the same sector, and don't forget about the ship seller on the station.
Schoppeng Dec 1, 2024 @ 3:59am
Same, i was wondering why nothing happens
Tisoon Aug 25, 2024 @ 8:32am
I confirm, it doesn't seem to work anymore since 7.1. Clicking the option, but the ship does nothing.
StateM Aug 9, 2024 @ 5:36pm
I have the same problem as shadow, they just don't do anything
Shadow Jul 26, 2024 @ 4:17pm
Sir Nuke has updated 24th july but when i tell a ship to go and repair all it does is says awaiting orders and just sits there
EddiE Jul 7, 2024 @ 10:56pm
Hi. Thanks for the reply. That very unfortunate - hoping you and Sir Nuke can figure it out.
The mod is too good. Don't understand why Egosoft didn't already put something similar into the game?

Btw: What happend to your privacy mod? I'm tired watching the pilots back of their heads. :D

Cheers.
Chillmatica  [author] Jul 6, 2024 @ 10:05am
Yes. Annoyingly the option has disappeared since Sir Nuke updated his API mod. I'm not sure when or if I'll break open the logs and try to figure out what changed. Haven't got back into playing the game much just yet.
EddiE Jul 6, 2024 @ 2:01am
Installed latest "SirNuke's MOD API" from Nexus (v. 1.89 uploaded July 5th), got no errors in X4 Mod list - still see no right click entry to repair the ship. :/
BLACKcOPstRIPPa Jul 2, 2024 @ 9:42am
I don't get an option to tell my ships to go repair

I have most of your mods, all the others I use look like they are working etc

It's only this mod, no option appears when I right-click on a ship to send it to repair. Only if I do it the old way, click on them, right click wharf, than click upgrade/repair at than I go through ship modification windows repair, #4, #4 to approve repair and pay for it than ship flys to wharf and heals.

I have the sir nukes UI, and the UI extension from Nexus mods, both work and menus from your bounty hunting mod appear on map, so that's not broken.

Any help would be appreciated, but GREAT mods by the way😁
Logicon Jun 17, 2024 @ 1:51am
OK, thanks :)
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 16, 2024 @ 8:13am
I haven't played the newest beta myself so no, I've not updated them for 7.0. I plan on playing Timelines when it comes out and then maybe after that I will update some of my mods for 7.0. All depends on what kind of time I have unfortunately.
Logicon Jun 16, 2024 @ 3:30am
This does not seem to be working with the latest beta, will you be checking it for the 7.0 release?
bonesbro May 19, 2024 @ 1:12pm
I really wish the ships would honor either sector travel restrictions or sector activity restrictions. I have ships prohibited from traveling through enemy sectors and from trading with Yaki, but when I tell a damaged ship in Getsu Fune to repair, then take the long path through Tharka's over to the friendly Yaki base in Savage Spur, dying on the way.
deltaCorben Mar 4, 2024 @ 12:55pm
Ships given this command ignore equipment docks.
knightphantom420 Feb 13, 2024 @ 4:06pm
This ... mod would be nice if not for the fact that if u have a ship in a fleet that is damaged it will go to a shipyard/warf to get repaired instead of repairing at your aux ship ! so i will not be using it unless u can fix it ...
Chillmatica  [author] Aug 29, 2023 @ 2:05pm
Yep
NiGhTWoLF Aug 28, 2023 @ 4:37pm
do your mods work in VRO?
Chillmatica  [author] Aug 1, 2023 @ 6:04am
Yep. I use it in the majority of my mods.
Hebrux Aug 1, 2023 @ 5:37am
Does sir Nuke's mod support still work?
Chillmatica  [author] Jul 20, 2023 @ 6:49am
You bet. You would have to dig into the mod and enable debugging and then comb through that to see why a particular ship does what it does with the command. It could be there wasn't a sufficient dock, or supplies available for what it needed, black lists, etc. Also, they will repair at your own docks and auxilary ships but again, you'd have to debug why yours didn't.
Snuggl Jul 20, 2023 @ 6:01am
Thanks for the mod, it's very helpful.

They sometimes seem to randomly choose docks though. Sometimes they go to a dock that's like 10 sectors away instead of the one that's literally 1 jumpgate away.

Also it would be nice to have an option to repair at your own docks instead of NPC ones.
AngelofDeath69 Jun 16, 2023 @ 10:29am
I think the ideal scenario would be a conversation prompt to enable or disable the auto repair on a carrier.
As the fighters would repair on the carrier/resupply ship.

Like, you comm the carrier captain and enable the auto resupply setting. This would make the ships go resupply based on a threshold. If more than 50% of that ship's squad needs repair, only send half for repair. If less than 50% need repair then send all those that need to repair. When there is no enemy ofc.

If there's no resupply ship on the fleet, then go to the nearest one or nearest wharf/shipyard/equipment dock owned by the player. If there isn't one then of allies
Kajar Jun 16, 2023 @ 7:07am
Repairs work just fine
I never got the missile resupply to work though.

But i see the use of it. No more looking for the repair dock. And less menueing is always nice.
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 16, 2023 @ 6:07am
In the same sector and if you have an aux ship in the first place. And even then the resupply setting is notoriously janky since v1.0. This is an explicit command to go repair/resupply and it automatically will find the nearest aux/carrier, warf, equipment dock or shipyard as appropriate and does so within nearby sectors, not just same sector.
Kajar Jun 15, 2023 @ 11:30pm
But... isn't this already done automatically in the game? Just set your global resupply setting to High and place an auxiliary ship in the sector. Every ship will automatically go and repair there if they suffer hull damage, or destroyed turrets etc. when it is safe enough to do so.
Thorrgal Jun 15, 2023 @ 2:47pm
I don't have enough money yet and even less my construction sites, but when I have some, I'm going to have fun sending ships to roam ^^
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 15, 2023 @ 2:23pm
I am :) all my mods have sweet old grannies. Can't miss 'em
Thorrgal Jun 15, 2023 @ 10:43am
Aaaaah are you the fleet roaming mod? I use this mod
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 15, 2023 @ 10:26am
Yeah I can do a check box but it will either be on or off for all player ships. I'm not going to get into doing logic checks on if it's a good time to automatically repair or not. I already did this in my Roaming Fleet mod so not trying to duplicate complex orders here.
Thorrgal Jun 15, 2023 @ 7:08am
Yes it is true that ships cannot leave a fleet in the middle of a battle.

After, as you say, can be proposed by a checkbox, the fact that the ships being on the hull, can go to repair themselves after the fight or not.

Good luck.
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 15, 2023 @ 7:05am
The short answer is control. One, this mod isn't cheating so repairs and resupplying cost credits. I think I can assume that players not in the infinite buckets of money stage of the game would want to keep a handle on expenses. Two, context. On an automatic schedule, ships may decide to automatically fly off and repair. What happens if you have a fleet in an epic battle and half of them decide it's time to leave and repair while the other half get wrecked?

That being said, I could put in an extension option for those that would like the option. I'll work on it after I publish my new mod before too long.
AngelofDeath69 Jun 15, 2023 @ 6:22am
why not have them fix automatically just like the mod that allows the carrier captain to re-buy a fighter if its destroyed? I think this would be better
Thorrgal Jun 14, 2023 @ 2:59pm
@Chillmatica

Why not do it yes?

For example, the player can choose whether the ship will be repaired automatically
one Jun 14, 2023 @ 2:37am
@Chillmatica, thank you! I don't' think I can play the game without this anymore. It's one of those QoL things that should have been in the base game.
Ay Tone Jun 12, 2023 @ 6:23am
Now that's a spicy meatball
Chillmatica  [author] Jun 12, 2023 @ 6:09am
It could be done automatically I suppose across your entire fleet on an interval timer. It seems like a kind of niche area though: those with hundreds of ships, a fat wallet, and where even two clicks is a bridge too far. You can shift+click your entire fleet and issue this mods command to them all in one go. I dunno if I'll do the automatic thing but it's an idea.
knightphantom420 Jun 12, 2023 @ 4:53am
yea...they should !!! the mod cant be made to have it done automatically ??? it become tedious when you have hundred of ships...
Prime Jun 12, 2023 @ 2:05am
This should be default behavior from the get go (looking at you, egosoft). Thank you, subbed
