Hey "my friend", in this case, clarify the meaning of your question better, because everything is subject to interpretation, and sorry but personally I took your comment as a negative remark, especially concerning the dlc.
There are rules as you know, and as the texture covers the components from the mighty griffin dlc, and it exploits the rendering of the metallic paint dlc, I have to specify it to avoid any compatibility problem of the mod with the game.
That is all.
So as I took your comment as a negative remark, I used a sarcastic tone.
Sorry if the basic meaning of your formulation was not precise enough to tell me that you wanted to understand something and not denigrate it by talking about the price of the dlc.

My question was, why a paintjob requires two DLC. For me, as a modder of a different game, a paintjob is just a texture, it doesn't require a specific DLC unless the model it is applied to is from that DLC specifically. Since the Scania S was a free DLC, I sincerely didn't understand why this texture requires two additional DLC, and with my comment, I've asked you to clarify that.

Your response is a mess, I personally would be ashamed to publish a comment like that. Especially, as a response to a simple question. But you do you, buddy, I'm happy to avoid you in the future.

Mods are not required to enjoy the game.
Mods using DLC items require owning the corresponding DLCs to work.
Content creators (mods) offer their creation out of passion and the pleasure of community sharing, it's free for users.
Regarding your comment, if you have read and understood the description of my mod, you will understand that for a free "work", I may not appreciate your unconstructive remark.
Wouldn't you like me to offer you the DLC and at the same time a tea with a slice of lemon served on a silver platter?

I plan to adapt my mod for the Scania R & Streamline 2009, Renault T, and Volvo FH16 2009,
In absolute terms, over time and depending on my free time, I plan to cover all the truck models in the game as well as the trailers (it will be a heavy job that will probably take 1 year or maybe a little more ).

Trying to configure a Fury Road style Scania Streamline, this mod would be a great addition!
