Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

HEY!

Since it's one comment away from being pushed to the next page (yes I'm the one doing it, some other blind trog would have at some point anyways), Mlie has a link and confirmation that this mod is working just fine and is supported by his No Version Warning mod. The link is there in the comments.

THIS DOESN'T NEED AN UPDATE TO FUNCTION.
The variables it modifies/adds aren't impacted by 1.5!

Visually good, but there is a SMALL problem. In winter, in sufficiently large spaces, it can eat 400 tps.

Kingdark's comment is correct. The metadata is the only reason this mod is listed as not compatible with 1.5. You don't even have to edit the file and adjust the version, just run the mod as-is and ignore the warning. All of the simple FX mods should be like this.

I think it's just a matter of editing an xml file, which you can do by right clicking on it, choose open with and then pick wordpad or notepad++ and then adding 1.5 to it?

I saw that in another comment section, so I can't be sure if this is correct or not.

Hi - this mod has nothing to do with breath graphics. Iirc I recall someone saying the same thing on discord, just happening normally.

hey, so it seems that using this with the fog of war from Combat AI 5000 means that you can see raiders breath on cold maps even when they should be hidden by fog of war

Update: I loaded Celsius into my save (read about it here, thought it looked interesting). Immediately after loading I checked the temperature of the cells with the vapor-inducing windows on them. It was -11°C and lower. Other windows showed different values. If I had to guess, I'd say the temperature at time of construction is frozen (ha!) inside the windows. With Celsius running, the windows acclimate after a while and the vapor is gone.

I just observed vapor around windows (from your mod Windows) with more than 20°C on either side of them. It's not around all the windows, just some of them. Heat Map shows every window as the same shade of blue. Reloading the save didn't help. (I haven't tried restarting the game.) The only temperature-related difference between windows I can think of is that some of them were probably built under sub-zero conditions. Oh, and I'm not running any mod that messes with vanilla thermodynamics. This behavior is not hugely disruptive or anything, but I thought I'd let you know about it, especially since both mods are yours.

Such a simple, yet amazing mod -- much like most of your creations. Would you consider making a mod for steam effect in hot areas? Either as a buildable prop (for aesthetics, such as a steam room or a sauna) or as an actual effect?

I'm usually not one to make suggestion posts but I just can't get over the effects this adds to the game and it got me thinking. Would a mirage effect be possible for the opposite temperatures? The refraction you see on roads, above heat sources, etc? Is that already a thing? Having the visual cues on temperature is so handy. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for your time. :)
