Ok. Best of luck to you friend.
Foltast  [author] Sep 15 @ 5:21am
BathBombViking, maybe at some point, but right now I have other priorities
BathBombViking Sep 13 @ 9:38am
Can you make a DLC free version?
Marmot Jan 23 @ 4:22pm
ok, I've been working on a spinal mounted rail gun module, the idea is that it has a connector with a conveyor adapter immediately after so that the small grid rail-gun(s) [haven't decided weather to do one or two] are fed by small conveyors, still working on the design
Foltast  [author] Jan 23 @ 4:15pm
It's for non-official extensions :)
Marmot Jan 19 @ 2:21pm
I'm a bit curious if there's anything that connects to the merge blocks on the spine
Marmot Jan 15 @ 7:46pm
I had an idea for something that could be added, not sure how this would work but the idea is a landing gear module, basically you take some landing gear and a frame possibly with some thrusters that would allow you to stabilize and potentially improve the vertical thrust to allow for landings/takeoffs with a heavy load
Marmot Sep 29, 2024 @ 11:48am
An easy thing to do would be to take one of the tool modules and replace the tools with weapons like gatling guns or missile launchers
Foltast  [author] Sep 29, 2024 @ 11:09am
Haha, yeah, that was one of my favorite ship there :)
I'll think about combat modules, sure
ATF_Coldblooded Carebear || Sep 28, 2024 @ 7:15pm
Ah the Loki! This reminds me of the Loki from Eve online both are Modular but the Eve is combat oriented this one is utility oriented… would it be too much to ask for a few combat base module be added??
Wabbiit May 7, 2024 @ 7:32pm
Amazing! No problems assembling from a projector, unit by unit. Nice work!
Marmot Feb 11, 2024 @ 1:48pm
I'm curious if there could be a landing gear module made for this
Marmot Feb 11, 2024 @ 8:37am
For long flights I recommend using either the atmospheric or ion thruster modules since the ship can't keep up with the cost of hydrogen thrusters
Foltast  [author] Feb 11, 2024 @ 8:21am
Yes, there are ion thrusters for maneuvering in the initial setup, but they won't work in the atmosphere
If you want to build modules in the atmosphere, you can use the built-in projector and build them on the hull itself
Maj.Raven Feb 11, 2024 @ 1:02am
I want use this beauty in my survival world. The ship base already has some trusters? Or i need assemble modules to use this in atmosphere?
Marmot Feb 8, 2024 @ 2:47pm
I get the missing blocks warning, from what I can tell it's what allows the buttons related to multiple groups of connectors since those don't work
BIV Jan 5, 2023 @ 10:26am
Nice idea and build, as to the landing gear, would it be possible to use MagLev Landing things and that way you could have the various sections secured but in the air for easier merging and switching modules. Good work mate.
Alex Dec 24, 2022 @ 7:51pm
we need mods or dlc for this ship =(
Foltast  [author] Dec 23, 2022 @ 5:57am
I get this warning sometimes, too. I'm not sure what causes it, since the model was created without using any mods. As far as I know this has no effect on the Loki or its modules
Serious Sex 4 Dec 23, 2022 @ 4:22am
so i wanted to paste it into my world but it says there are blocks not available in my world but i got no block related mods active, is that normal?
Foltast  [author] Nov 30, 2022 @ 11:35am
Greywerld, under the white cover that can be seen between the cargo modules on top of the ship
Greywerld Nov 29, 2022 @ 1:21pm
Can you point out where the timer blocks got put in this? I built it up before that change and don't want to grind it all down to get it updated.
Love the idea and plans of this.
[Taurus]Ateros Oct 28, 2022 @ 12:19pm
Shadaris indeed i tried the tug option to merge and atach different parts of shop and it works well
Shadaris Oct 15, 2022 @ 2:54pm
Ateros the simple way to build this would be to place a projector on top, then project the parts you want to there matching merge blocks. This works well for most of the modules. The H2 thrusters you will need to build one then move the projection over a couple blocks to build the other side.
as for swapping out the parts you can fit an ions in each direction to reposition in space or use a tug to swap parts out. forklift in atmo works well.
OOORRR if you really want to get fancy with it. A dedicated MX doc that swaps parts like the hover cargo in Zoids New century zero. (currently work on one)
Foltast  [author] Oct 11, 2022 @ 6:15am
Practice. Lots of practice
Although I still don't think it's that good. I always want to improve something
ryangoslinglover306 Oct 10, 2022 @ 8:38am
how to build so nicely?
Foltast  [author] Oct 2, 2022 @ 6:41am
Well, I use ANT-MV
[Taurus]Ateros Sep 29, 2022 @ 2:35pm
How do you assemble this ? the hull comes solo without a thing and how do i put something to it ? otherwise great ship
Foltast  [author] Sep 25, 2022 @ 8:37am
binary_fiction, If you are talking about a green beam, then it must be removed after the construction of the thrusters (although it will probably be more convenient to connect them first, in which case, yes, it is probably worth increasing the distance)

frogit04, oh, thanks for noticing and kind words!
frogit04 Sep 24, 2022 @ 10:13pm
@Foltast Typo in specs : Remove should be Remote

Love the design and the Origin Lore!
binary_fiction Sep 23, 2022 @ 2:32pm
this has been fun to build and use, thank you. one small problem though, unless i have done something wrong the hydrogen thruster module needs to be two blocks more apart to fit the hull.
NublyBubly Sep 23, 2022 @ 1:38pm
looks really nice, is there a version that doesnt use dlc's?
Foltast  [author] Sep 23, 2022 @ 8:16am
nickforgie you can try to cut the ship in half in the center, then add the extra length there. In this case, you'll be able to connect cargo modules to the appropriate connectors

thanks, Val!
Val Sep 21, 2022 @ 8:26pm
I always like modular designs. I've made my own designs like this but yours looks way nicer. Very good!
nickforgie Sep 21, 2022 @ 6:46pm
Ok then, how much work would it take to fix it? I am likely going to be needing the space for parts
Foltast  [author] Sep 21, 2022 @ 6:40am
nickforgie, unfortunately no
TheHellKat, thanks, yeah dedicated ships are more convenient for daily use, and I myself prefer to use them, but there are situations when modularity is more practical (but not easier, lol)
TheHellKat Sep 21, 2022 @ 4:34am
It's a cool design, no doubt about it. I've done a few types myself. In all honesty though it's not something you would really use.

Maybe I'm just lazy but I find dedicated ships easier to work with.
nickforgie Sep 20, 2022 @ 2:44pm
Can this use modules from you small freighter? It looks like they might fit.
Foltast  [author] Sep 20, 2022 @ 9:39am
Thanks!
Additional modules (fuel cargo unit and batteries power unit) were also released
madmo110 Sep 20, 2022 @ 8:17am
Your OPC designs are always amazing, especially your drones. Now this is a vehicle I have always thought about but never created. As always amazing design!
Rena Snek Sep 20, 2022 @ 7:51am
what about a small defensive module?
Goose Sep 20, 2022 @ 12:46am
13th comment, you are now cursed.
Diamonder Sep 19, 2022 @ 12:52pm
Oh I forgot that merge blocks don't have conveyors. Well good thinking!
Foltast  [author] Sep 19, 2022 @ 10:35am
If I used only merges, then it would not be possible to change modules where conveyors are used. However, if the module doesn't use conveyors (ion thrusters at the moment, at least a new power unit and atmo thrusters will be added to this list a little later) then only merges are used there
Diamonder Sep 19, 2022 @ 8:08am
In my opinion I would use merge blocks instead of connectors but thats just my opinion. And I love modular stuff great job!
Dan Sher Sep 18, 2022 @ 8:44pm
Good to see more and more people taking a shot at making a modular system, I gotta speed up a bit
The Polish Crusader Sep 17, 2022 @ 11:58am
This is just basically just lego on steroids
Foltast  [author] Sep 17, 2022 @ 11:30am
Thanks guys, I'll think about a some sort of bay or mechanism to make the assembly more convenient
Ditsydoo Sep 17, 2022 @ 11:08am
Thats actually quite an interesting idea.
Sevyrs Sep 16, 2022 @ 8:06pm
Interesting. Subbed and upped.
