This map overall looks amazing, certainly brought me nostalgia from Operation Flashpoint, and has a lot of content, i could imagine myself doing some missions with this.
I think if there is only one thing wrong with this map would be the lack of rocks on the coasts, specially the ones near cliffs, and the fact that cities don't have much building variety. But aside from all of that good terrain and i certainly hope more people like this.

Wow, finally someone finished this map. I had an unfinished build of this map for years on my drive. Never sadly finished it by myself. Thanks! Now i can re-create the ofp campgain.

You can freely use Tanoa and Livonia buildings and vegetation.
Numerous maps did and they did not need the DLC.

It is highly recommended, as these are some of the best objects in the game and they are especially important because base game object line-up is simply very lackluster.

Even if the map stays in the Mediterranean setting.

If you use contact buildings, they shouldn't create a dependency on them. CUP used the buildings for Chernarus 2020, and it didn't require players to have Contact DLC

Kaska v1.4 has been released. Improvements has been made across the map with an added 147,000 objects, including new and updated built-up areas.

For those needing the key, it has been moved to the parent folder, akin to how others manage their mod key.

Hi @The_77_Ronin - The Mediterranean pallet was chosen when development started as it was readily available for all players without needing additional mods or DLC.

As an example of the file you're looking for, here are the bikey's we've taken from various mods for our server {LINK REMOVED}. We need a file that looks like this (you can generate one using the instructions in the link I sent in my first comment).

If you need an example of a mod that has done this, download the 3den Enhanced mod {LINK REMOVED} and have a look at it's mod folder (you can find it by opening the arma launcher, clicking on the mod and then the 3 dots "..." next to it and then click "Open Folder in Windows Explorer"). It has a folder called "keys" with one .bikey file in there.

Hey Chaplato, I'm afraid it hasn't be provided.

There is a kaska.pbo.Kaska.bisign file (which shows that the mod has been signed), the main kaska.pbo file and that's it. What we need is a file ending in .bikey, this is the public key that you used to sign the mod and can be shared and is what people refer to when they mention ".bikey".

It tends to be common practice to share it in a folder called "keys" to make it easy for server owners to extract it from a mod into their server. Without it, servers that are verifying players (e.g. "allowedFilePatching" set to "2" in their config) can't actually use your mod as they have no way to check if a player's mod is the right one or not.

tested your island. In general, it is very difficult to play with bots on it. mountains are too steep, and it gets stuck or falls into the water. your island looks like islands with arma1 (sahrani). also too many blinders and peaks. http://joxi.ru/52aBgKlCloGbbA

Holy shit, this is really cool. I remember someone working on a remaking of this on the old OFP:DR forums like 5 or 6 years ago. Are you the same guy...? It'd be awesome to see a remake of the DR campaign on here.

Problems:
1. Very steep and high coasts on the islands and the continent. technique and ai just roll into the water.
2. all stones are transparent and shootable. it is useless to hide behind them.
3. AI does not recognize the houses and tries to drive through and shoot through them.
4. uneven airfields (not completed)

Very cool!

But some roads are to much upright to be authentic. The meadows and mountains are a bit boring, they deserve some mor details and changes for my opinion :)

Hello,

Could you please provide the bikey inside a keys folder with the mod? (NOT the private bikey!)
This allows us to run the map on servers without it opening it up for every other mod.
