No, I'm quite busy working on the next base-mod update and haven't had the free time to focus on side-content lately
Hime Nov 8, 2023 @ 10:47am
have the mod been reuploaded?
AverageFalloutFan Oct 14, 2023 @ 10:39pm
Even more hyped after realizing you made the tech tree expansion and generics reworked mods
AverageFalloutFan Sep 17, 2023 @ 11:50am
Awesome
Silverfishv9  [author] Sep 14, 2023 @ 3:00pm
I have been working on one but Steam is unwilling to let me update the original file, so ti will likely be a re-upload

This needs update ):
Your Wife's Boyfriend Dec 14, 2022 @ 1:59am
hey is this being updated for 4.0+? Just wanted to confirm before I start coding my submod, thanks in advance
Silverfishv9  [author] Jul 1, 2022 @ 1:26pm
Been multiple Cumulative Updates, but now the mod Features a better Brotherhood path, focuses for the Divide and White Legs, up to 3 recruitable generals, unique icons for some technologys, unique starting laws, and balance tweaks.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 20, 2022 @ 7:29am
The benefits of their research are a little strong yes. Part of it was to compensate for their slowness to come online for the AI especially, and having much less industry than most majors. Requiring a unique Kit for the super soldiers feels redundant as you already do that while manufacturing cybernetics parts, and would require editing the tech tree, but it could be a little more restrained for balance reasons. Maybe in the next update I'll make the super soldier buff only apply to special forces to emphasize its limited nature, at least initially, and nerf it a little bit.
Lostpancake Jun 19, 2022 @ 10:50pm
Very good mod but its a bit easy, them getting every tech makes sense but all the unique focus tree buffs really stack up to make completely unbeatable divisions for little effort. It would be cool if the super soldier thing for example actually required industry to produce each individual super soldier "kit" rather than it being applied to everything for free instantly.
VoidPurger Jun 19, 2022 @ 4:10pm
We really need some custom Army Leader Portraits. Purely for immersion, love everything else :)
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 19, 2022 @ 2:25pm
You're right. I wish I could get them unique models but I don't have that skill right now, so they now use brotherhood models in the latest update. They also have a new flag if they become a chapter, and can colonize the MOON.
Blackhe4rt Jun 19, 2022 @ 6:18am
I really like your mod, but there is a small thing that irks me :D The Raider-3d Models dont really feel immersive for the faction you created with your mod. Maybe you could change them to Enclave or Brotherhood Models for the time being?
Azenzu Jun 17, 2022 @ 2:21pm
looked a bit closer to at the fokus "Refurbished old robots" and it state "automations", and fokus gives "scap bot". it makes sens for the fokus to gives scrap bot and basic robots, but the fokus points towards a different tech (Automation)
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 17, 2022 @ 2:12pm
Another Update, to possibly join the brotherhood of steel now! Old focuses of pure conquest available if you decide against allies in the event.
Rent-A-Boom Jun 16, 2022 @ 10:50am
FYI You might want to add OWB to the description since that's what a lot of people look for.
Taltos Jun 15, 2022 @ 4:54pm
thanks for leaving a review
Thirsk Jun 14, 2022 @ 4:36pm
Overall it's quite a good mod in my opinion. The beginning is quite tough due to the -100% occupation appeal (every factory is destroyed as you conquer new land). You build up some incredible bonuses over time which are necessary when you have such weak industrial capacity/manpower.
Like Ranaark, I beat the Sky Reavers with 10 Enforcers divisions, though I added support Demolitions to the template, which I fulfilled by just buying the dynamite. Makes the war with the Sky Reavers much easier.
cassian Jun 14, 2022 @ 5:03am
i managed to take out the sky reavers with about 10 divisions of the starting enforcers, just do the border war then let them slam against your frontline until they run out of equipment
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 13, 2022 @ 5:47pm
But, I must admit that they used to have far more focuses before the war actually broke out, so to help the AI and new players with the accelerated pace of it, I've slightly buffed their starting army and the equipment from focuses.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 13, 2022 @ 5:00pm
There's a reason the decision for a border war with the sky reavers exists, They don't calculate the same way normal wars do and it extends the border to the northern passage, usually splitting the Sky Reavers' army across more provinces and making it possible to push them since they aren't doomstacked.
Walesball1214 Jun 13, 2022 @ 3:51pm
honestly i cant even recommend this i was sitting for 2 yrs attacking the same province. smh bad mod with what look like to be a good focus
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 13, 2022 @ 2:16pm
Yes, the Pacification system is part of the base mod, Old World Blues, used by the Think Tank. Pacification isn't the most helpful unless a large amount of your manpower tied up in occupation. The key factor is that you can't actually core states except by focuses while you have it, which fits the flavor of the "chosen few to survive" outlook they start with and helps restrain them from blobbing more than they'll already try to.
Walesball1214 Jun 13, 2022 @ 2:13pm
@Thirskthat is clearly part of the mod
Walesball1214 Jun 13, 2022 @ 1:44pm
@Thirsk what do you mean? the coring system that would be part of the OWB mod but if you meant Ressistence that was added with LR
Thirsk Jun 13, 2022 @ 12:13pm
I'm not sure if the Pacification system is original to your mod or a base OWB feature that I haven't seen before, but it feels underwhelming. It still requires that you hit 95% compliance, but by the time you get that far, the province will inevitably have zero resistance anyway due to how much compliance reduces resistance. Because of this, the end result is effectively just freeing up the 20 or so manpower being used to occupy the province, which doesn't feel worth it at all.

Updated to bugfix the broken Intermediate air and basic naval techs, fixed one typo.
Kliment Voroshilov 2 Jun 13, 2022 @ 6:35am
cool mod tho
Kliment Voroshilov 2 Jun 13, 2022 @ 6:35am
hate the Sleepers got trapped in a war with them for 4 years just to be naval invaded
[TEST] Nattywwc Jun 13, 2022 @ 4:50am
You can't unlock basic naval tech, since it's connected to the region in the focus tree. Completing the scavenging the Colorado focus doesn't give you the tech right now.

Another New Update, check change notes.
Mr Zoat Jun 12, 2022 @ 10:27am
Ah, sorry. I was looking at the version from before the most recent update. I suggest nudging the Presper's Legacy focus a little closer to the rest.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 12, 2022 @ 8:06am
I'm getting slightly convinced you haven't actually played the mod Mr Zoat. The early focuses might use generic icons and effects but they all do have new localization, the right branches being about specifically building a new lab around BOMB and fortifying the Grand Canyon, the latter ones acknowledging the growth of it into a small city even after their captial is moved to "New Boulder", and the first focus gives them an idea to represent their elitism (preventing coring of territories manually, as they don't consider most of the people the conquer worthy), and the focus Presper's Legacy enables a decision to virus-bomb the whole wasteland using the New Plague stored in area 51 on purpose (or not if you want a more forgiving rebirth, but that's not implemented yet). All of this has been implemented since the first release.
Mr Zoat Jun 12, 2022 @ 3:19am
@Sgt. Robo
Presper's been dead for twenty years, so he's not really involved any longer. It does seem odd to me that his plan (spread disease, bombard from orbit, repopulate with Dome elite) isn't included. The focuses at the top could be reflavoured to consist of turning the crashed space station into an actual town.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 11, 2022 @ 4:42pm
Updated with new focuses, some balance tweaks, and fix for lack of supply outside of Grand Canyon.
Mr Zoat Jun 11, 2022 @ 12:01pm
You could make them worse than a generic faction. Unlike a lot of places, it is very rare for anyone to go to war with the Sleepers. There's no active threat they have to prepare for. If you want to keep the specific bonuses, just change the description a little.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 11, 2022 @ 11:56am
Yeah, the top was initially repurposed to avoid making them actively worse than just playing vanilla. I will agree that the first half needs to be slimmed and reworked.
Mr Zoat Jun 11, 2022 @ 11:52am
Had a quick look at the submod, and it looked like the top half of the tree was generic focuses repurposed from the settler tree. For me, the main thing I look for in OWB nations is a characterful story, and that's rather at odds with generic trees.
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 10, 2022 @ 11:18pm
I actually don't know if its necessary. I believe I could still do it if I modify the supply regions, but that could take looking at over 300 files to find which ones include the affected states. Its honestly easier to just... invade bitter springs instead, as it should form a proper connection. Either that or build one yourself if you have the DLC.
God of Newts Jun 10, 2022 @ 11:15pm
I don't know why you would need to own NSB as I myself don't, but then again I'm not a HOI4 modder
Silverfishv9  [author] Jun 10, 2022 @ 11:12pm
New Update, featuring localization fix, new starting templates and custom AI so it will use them, and a Border Conflict over Bitter Springs because I don't know how to fix the supply setup issue (I don't have No Step Back) and its genuinely easier to just steal the chunk of the network that lets you link up with the North Passage. The NCR will be too distracted by Operation Sunburst to notice right away anyways.
God of Newts Jun 10, 2022 @ 10:00pm
Also a fun idea might be an event either about or hinting at the Legion throwing Joshua Graham into the Grand Canyon if they do that. The Sleepers are in the canyon, so maybe they rescue the Malpais Legate, observe increased legion activity in their area, or simply hear his cries of pain, sorrow, and rage echo all throughout the canyon
God of Newts Jun 10, 2022 @ 9:51pm
Tried this mod out tonight and ran into trouble. There's no railway connecting Sleeper and Sky Reaver territories, making the fight with them near impossible due to horrible supply. The nearest railway connecting the two is in the Mojave Territories
Sgt. Robo Jun 10, 2022 @ 8:47pm
I did always find it weird that there were only like, three mentions of Presper in the whole mod, sleepers included. Looking forward to this progressing!

Feedback on balancing, pacing, and writing is welcome, I hope to improve the mod over the summer.
