Great mod! Is it possible to add a loot option specifically for cars?

i want to ask is this mod by default makes all zombies have the same loot or it was the ingame default doing because i slay 10 zombies in different places and all of them have pretty much the same loot ??

i used mads zombie loot bfore but i turn it off later.

I'm trying to use a Halo armor mod for my son, but I don't want these items to spawn in the game (rather give him 1 set via Admin). I'm confused on how to use this mod to do this.

How exactly do I configure this via the Loot Rarity (for containers) and Zombie Loot settings? I believe I use fhqODSTHelm:0;fhqODSTSuit:0 as the multiplier, but I'm not sure exactly which boxes I add this to in settings. I am also not sure if this would still restrict the loot since I see no options for loot "rolls" settings. Is it possible to keep these items from ever spawning using this mod?

Even with loot set to 75%, I've been finding too many generators. Do you know which table further reduces generator spawns?

If this isn't already in the mod, it would be a great addition—I haven't found any other mod that decreases generator spawns.

What would a screenshot even do for you? Go into your SandboxVars.lua file and go filter for "rolls" that should already get you to the correct location.

The mod works completely fine in MP, the options for decreased loot over time are at the end, yes. However, all the other settings are further up in the loot settings. You really have to be some form of special to not filter atleast for some keywords in the .lua file, but then instead come to the comments and misinform everyone. Its kind of unreal multiple people did this as well.

Does it make guns more rare? Like, I downloaded a mod that increases guns on the world (Not intentionaly) so can I bring the rarity down?

Same problem with multiplayer as some other users have. The mod apparently loads but there are no settings whatsoever so it's impossible to set it up properly. Please fix!

Does Zombie Loot Chance Multiplier work? I've tried adding items with 1.0 multiplier in Generic Zeds Loot which I believe should spawn items with 100% chance, but after hundred of kills it doesn't spawn.
So does it work or I'm doing something wrong?

its completely broken, for multiplayer anyway.
sandbox options dont appear in the sandbox.lua file at all. only a tiny section for Time Decreased Loot, the very thing we dont want.

@Champy When using the "Specific Items Multipliers" section of the Loot Rarity Options, how is that list processed? Is it loaded and set by the server once upon restart or is that table referenced every time a loot container is opened? I ask because I have a friend who generated a list of all the items in the True Music Addon that has 2000+ songs on it(The 1903 to 1999 one), but also comes with a very broken spawn rate so a lot of containers will show huge lists of cassettes and vinyls no matter what the loot rarity is set to. This list he created would set each individual item in that mod to 10% the normal spawn rate. I'm wondering if using this giant list of specific item multipliers will cause intense lag when looting or if it's of no concern?

Another abandoned mod. When B42 releases and we don't have mods like this, I'm really going to have troubles deciding on B41 with mods or B42 with other fancy things. :steamsad:

My issue with this mod is certain spawners have wildly different spawn rates, so setting weapons to very rare makes an axe .001% on a tool shelf but if I use the modifier to increase it's spawn chance, then the generic 'crate' spawner will put axes to like 100000% spawn rate

the MSR700 Rifle keeps spawning on outfits despite ensuring chance of guns is at 0

discovered i can add multipliers for Base.Zomboxycycline and Base.Zomboxivir from They Knew mod into Medical and/or Military zombies from this mod to spice that up a lot, super cool Champy, thanks for all this

Hi, I'm having trouble with a mod on my server. The mod itself is functioning, but when I try to access the "Loot Options" menu, it only shows the default settings. In singleplayer, the mod works perfectly fine with full access to the loot options. This mod is important for our multiplayer experience, so any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Champy, thanks for making this great mod. I have a doubt, I would swear that in the Zombie Loot (MLS) Generic Zeds Loot section you could add items individually, for example 2 units of coffee with a percentage x, three units of coffee with another percentage x, and so on whatever I wanted in that each time you would receive more or less amounts of coffee and not a fixed amount as happens with cigarettes. If you would be so kind as to give me the exact command that would be great. I put, for example, Base.Coffee2 5:0.50;Base.Coffee2 3:0.25 but nothing appears in the zeds, and before I did tests with other items and if they appeared, I am missing something, perhaps a comma, a semicolon I don't know please help.

@SmurF 1.00 might just mean "100% of the normal drop rate". Maybe try a higher number.

Also, I think there's another place where you can adjust for all zombies at once, if you don't need to specify the types. I forget what it's called or where it's at, though.

I would like the various types of zombies to always drop money. How would I get that to happen with this mod? I've added Base.Money:1.00; to every type from generic downward. Is there another place in the mod to make that happen?

I have a question about "Time Decreases Loot".
Is it working with loot respawn on? Will there less loot after it respawn or it gonna work once, when I discover "unchecked" container?

There is a bug, I went on an expedition for 1 month to clean up Louisville, back in my main base in Rosewood, the mode deletes 70% of my loot in containers, the option which deletes the loot is obsolete you don't are no longer in your main base in the long term. This is the second time this has destroyed my game. :steamsad:

Something definitely isn't working right with this mod. The multiplier doesn't seem to affect it under 1. If I choose 2 items in a food container, there is next to nothing. If I choose 3, there's a lot of food. I don't get it, but it's not working right.

@tilarium if by "at the start of the Knox event" you mean using the "Initial Outbreak" setting preset, that's not what that means. I got thrown by that for my first game, thinking I'd get more plot or something, but it's just a difficulty setting of Easy, with far too much loot, very easy zombies (no clustering) and the power doesn't go out for a long, long time.

I was doing some tests at the Westpoint Fire Department mod. There is a food warehouse to the south. It doesn't seem to matter what settings I use unless it's a 0.0 modifier. If it's 0.0, nothing spawns. If it's 1.0 vs 0.01, it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Thanks for the seriously awesome mod! I especially like being able to able to adjust the "category" multipliers and that the specific item multipliers apply ON TOP OF the "categories", saving me the trouble of mathing things out.

I'm using this mod to lower loot overall and make some items that I feel spawn WAY too frequently (looking at you PKMN cards mod), spawn far less.

Hi, if I set the loot on rare, which is the default option, it is x0,6 multiplier? and how much is the multiplier in insanely rare? In the description of the mod the less lot is extremely rare so I don't know if the multipliers have changed since the insanely rare option was introduced. Thanks

The easiest way to find the settings you would like is to create a custom SP game, add MLS, save your preset settings for MLS and load the game.. Set loot respawn to everyday in "World" sandbox settings and fast forward time and check the loot. Just tinker with the settings and find the sweet spot. :)

I set most of my loot to extremely or insanely rare to begin with, then adjust it further with MLS. Turn down the max rolls per container to 1-2 to really make an impact on top of this. Some modded items have separate distribution rules - they're still affected by loot settings but they'll do a separate check which makes it appear as though there is more loot because they're added on top. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Can anyone over some advice on settings? I set the drop downs from most of the things, including food, to rare but the first convenience store I walked into had shelves loaded with everything from cigs to food. I'm playing at the start of the Knox event but still want to have rare loot. It certainly isn't rare at these levels. Do I need to mess around with the rolls and the multiplier? What settings would people recommend? Something I just thought too, are modding items not affected by the settings?

Both the screenshot and the tooltip for Specific Items Multipliers say the format is `Base.Item=1;` but the description and default items in the list are formatted as the newer `Base.Item:1;` as a heads up. :)
