wow almost 2 years later, not once did steam notify be about any of your messages. to try to answer everyones questions. im not makin this a map as i dont know how and dont feel like takin the time to learn as its all changing in arma 4 anyways, but if some knows how and would like to they have my permission and any help i can offer. also, i will have a new LITE version comin out soon with all the extra stuff relating to the men of sin removed which will greatly help with the frames (should have done it sooner but i completely forgot i did that) a scenario not a prob but i doubt u still need one. and as for pic 4, the idea was escaped mental hospital patient and the guys sent to get him

@ZFAngelo269 mainly enforcer and northern fronts for that one, see the Men Of War mod for full list of mods used for the units, link above

@David Killmour no plans to do so anytime in the near future, but as stated in the q&a above i have no problem with someone elce turning it into a map or using it in one. i just don't see it worth the time myself do to the fps issues with certain death zone objects. leaving it as a comp just makes it easier for anyone to remove the objects that aren't needed for their scenario

with all the objects selected, select the Translation Widget key and you can adjust the height. it looks like a + made of arrows, its in the same task bar as the terrain level button. itll show 3 arrows in the middle of the city, just grab the blue and drag down. its not responsive at all and itll take some time for the object to start moving. i actually have it shown in the last pic above if you need to see what it looks like, though it is hard to see the arrows

It would help a little bit, from expierience of seeing maps in dev with OPTRE atleast. Id reach out to nightovizard, as hes developing a new mombasa map with a team rn and theyre working on it by making compositions of what theyre working on and when its done, he updates the map with the composition as part of the actual map.

this map is smaller then min view range so i recommend turning it all the way down and playing with this mod, should help make it more playable.

turning this into a true map would help with alot of thing, if nothing elce never having to setting it up again, though im not sure it would help to much with the fps issues. arma is arm, but it seems to be mainly tied to the death zone assets that were never finished. even on the death zone map itself, with view ranged turn down to all the way it still happens, lest from my experiences with it.

This is incredible, however in the VR map with all the mods loaded and ones for men of sin, i write this with >10fps to my name. I highly doubt this would ever be on another map outside of VR, and I highly suggest at this rate just making it a map. Itd def solve the vegetation problem with the graveyard.

Unfortunately it's unplayable , the scenario its fantastic .
I meant it's a great idea , but everything it's floating above the ground and theres no chance to manually drag , all this items sadly .

yup, sadly that is how its supposed to spawn. some objects need to be clipped through the ground to work properly and no matter how good the pc, arma struggles hard to move a ton of objects like this at once. its a real pain to set up, but if needed you can lower the city to the correct height block by block, take a bit longer but much more responsive.

I have surface snapping and vertical mode turned off but the buildings still spawn above the ground and it takes 3 minutes to make any slight movement to the composition, looks amazing otherwise
