Vorpal Jul 18 @ 2:22am
Thank you kindly, sir. Hope this gets added into the base game at some point. :tgrin:

1.6?
DK43 Jun 1 @ 8:50pm
i have dog with shattered spine and i want to heal him. how do i do it ?
Syrus  [author] Jan 29 @ 7:14am
Hm...probably possible. Looks like it would need to be implemented differently than it works for the Healer Mech Serum, as it works somewhat differently.

Might implement it at a later point

Any chance this mod could be expanded to work with Unnatural healing ability added in Anomaly DLC? I have all the same problems with that ability as I do with Healer Mech Serums so my current workaround with this mod is to sigh and spawn in a Healer Mech Serum with dev mode when Unnatural healing does something stupid like curing "Neural heat (safe)" instead of hearing loss or bad back.

Version 1.5.3
Fixed issue in transpiler
theothersteve7 Oct 13, 2024 @ 12:43pm
This mod allowed me to restore the fundamentum of a bonded True Dragon from Dragon's Descent. 10/10 thank you so much
Rovalen Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:42am
I see, that's... perfectly fine actually. You usually get that stuff in bulk anyway, so it's not a big deal at all. Thanks for considering it though!
Syrus  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:24am
Thanks for testing it, though I'm conflicted on whether I would want to add a patch for it, considering that it would change how it works.

Reworking my mod to allow selecting 3 conditions to potentially fix and keeping the chance-based healing would likely be possible, but it's a bit beyond what I currently want to do to add compatibility with another mod.
Otherwise I could override the functionality, only giving 1 selectable heal - which not everyone might be happy with. Having it optional would also entail quite a bit of work.

So, for the moment, I'll leave it as is, without a patch, sorry
Rovalen Aug 17, 2024 @ 6:37am
@Syrus nope, doesn't work! Also checked, it is custom coded, but its only gimmick is that it heals a random of 1~3 worst conditions instead of 1. Any chance for compatibility patch?
Syrus  [author] Aug 16, 2024 @ 4:31pm
So far I do not remember anyone commenting about that item or that mod yet
Test it, report back on the results
Rovalen Aug 16, 2024 @ 1:26pm
Does it work with Nerotonin-8B from V.O.I.D. faction?
Syrus  [author] Jul 28, 2024 @ 1:34am
Just tested it with the Behemoth, it works fine for me.
Check if you get an error on starting saying that a patch could not be applied or otherwise try un- and the resubscribing to the mod. Maybe Steam gave you the non-functional version I uploaded before I realized that it needed some coding to work.
Omega13 Jul 27, 2024 @ 7:26pm
Okay after a little testing, I am now allowed to use the serum on my behemoth from Alpha Animals, unfortunately it doesn't do anything
Omega13 Jul 27, 2024 @ 6:56pm
thanks so much!
Syrus  [author] Jul 26, 2024 @ 8:26am
Version 1.5.2
Healer mech serum can be administered to animals

---

Hopefully this won't have any unforeseen sideeffects since it was a bit more workaround'y than I had thought it would need to be.

(Since I didn't want to add options for this mod, as that's a lot of work without HugsLib and people hate HugsLib apparently, it's not optional but always available. If you don't like it, well...just don't give your pets mech serums?)

@Omega13
Yes, done!
Omega13 Jul 25, 2024 @ 12:24pm
weird question, but any chance that this mod could allow you to administer the mech serum to animals? It used to have this functionality but the core game seems to have removed it at some point for reasons known only to Tynan
D9sinc Apr 16, 2024 @ 12:18pm
Thank you for the fix Syrus.
Rainezean Apr 16, 2024 @ 11:12am
 Thx for the quick fix
Syrus  [author] Apr 16, 2024 @ 10:59am
Version 1.5.1
Fixed serum being applied via medical operation not working
The seletion popup should open as the serum administering finishes - if you hit cancel in the popup the serum should not be consumed.

@Rainezean
Found and should be fixed.
DLC patch changed how a method I use works apparently, didn't notice.
Rainezean Apr 16, 2024 @ 8:46am
I seem to have found a bug, when a pawn use it on themselves is fine but during an operation it does not show a dialog choices nor will the serum be used and the bad hediff is unaffected. Btw it doesn't show any error either so I can't log it
D9sinc Apr 15, 2024 @ 12:33pm
@Гений
Ah okay, I am glad to hear that.

@Syrus
No need to worry, I haven't tried it myself, I was just curious. if it only targets visible hediffs, that is not a concern. I'll try it in a modpack and try to get logs if any issues arise.
Syrus  [author] Apr 15, 2024 @ 12:04pm
@D9sinc
I don't own Anomaly*, so I can't check. If there's an issue, I'll need a detailed report.
Though if I remember correctly, I used vanilla methods to establish the list of which hediff can be healed, so there should not be any incosistency between what would be randomly chose and what my mod allows to be picked.

(*I consider the price too high to buy this DLC while I have no time to play)
Гений Apr 15, 2024 @ 11:09am
@D9sinc Healer mech serum heals only visible hediffs if I remember it right
D9sinc Apr 15, 2024 @ 11:06am
Has this been checked with Anomaly? I know there is a hidden hediff in regards to some entities and I just wanted to make sure that this won't affect them (I.E the mod won't try to bring them up to try to cure them.)
Syrus  [author] Apr 12, 2024 @ 3:09pm
Version 1.5.0
Small code fixes for new version, no functional changes
TurtleShroom Apr 11, 2024 @ 10:26am
I hope you feel better soon!
Syrus  [author] Apr 11, 2024 @ 9:50am
It's been a horrible week, but I hope to get around to updating my mods this weekend.
Hykal Apr 11, 2024 @ 7:48am
1.5 pleaseee
TurtleShroom Apr 10, 2024 @ 3:16pm
MY GLOB! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Syrus  [author] Apr 9, 2024 @ 9:39am
Sure, go ahead!
Sounds like a nice idea for a mod
Samuel_Bucher Apr 9, 2024 @ 7:57am
I'll credit you.
Samuel_Bucher Apr 9, 2024 @ 7:57am
Can use your hediff choice dialog menu code in my mod? I'm trying to implement the same functionality, but for the biosculptor's regeneration cycle.
Syrus  [author] Jan 7, 2024 @ 2:51pm
Version 1.4.1
Reduced mod size by removing git-, obj-, & .vs-files, etc.
Syrus  [author] Oct 12, 2023 @ 4:54pm
Save to add to a save, yes.

(Though, as always, I don't take responsibility if something breaks. Always best to make a backup if you add or remove mods.)
snipebotz Oct 12, 2023 @ 1:52pm
add to save?
JoeOwnage Apr 26, 2023 @ 3:30am
Oh ok perfect
Syrus  [author] Apr 25, 2023 @ 11:31am
As I understand that mod, it does not add anything new, but instead changes the names of existing items, like the Healer Mech Serum, so the functionality stays unchanged and HMSChoice works without issues.

Technically speaking, your mentioned mod just changes the display name, the "defName" stays unchanged and that's what my mod looks at.
JoeOwnage Apr 25, 2023 @ 4:00am
Hey Syrus, botch job has made a new version of medieval quest rewards. I wonder if you'd mind adding compatibility for that healing potion as well?

JoeOwnage Mar 31, 2023 @ 5:00am
Yes I'm aware and I hate that
Syrus  [author] Mar 30, 2023 @ 1:20pm
Was a bit surprised though, Healing Potions can't be "administered" - unlike mech serums.
Not sure if that's intended or not ... maybe someone should tell/ask the mod maker for it? Not that I care, though, I don't use the mod :)
JoeOwnage Mar 30, 2023 @ 1:16pm
Fuck yes nice job
Syrus  [author] Mar 30, 2023 @ 4:04am
Added compatibility for Healing Potions from Medieval Quest Rewards
JoeOwnage Mar 28, 2023 @ 4:25am
Appreciate it man
Syrus  [author] Mar 27, 2023 @ 10:32am
Thanks :)

@JoeOwnage
Noted down as a todo, will need to see how they implement it. Hopefully I find some time and will to do some programming later this week, no promises though :p
Rips Mar 27, 2023 @ 2:18am
Ty awesome mod! Mech Healer Serum is super frustrating otherwise since its priorityy isn't necessarily yours and it is so rare.
JoeOwnage Mar 23, 2023 @ 7:06am
Any chance of making this apply to healing potions from medieval quest rewards? They function exactly like healer mech serums
Syrus  [author] Oct 23, 2022 @ 6:13am
Updated for 1.4 (no changes)
