@Pandathan: yes, you are absolutely right. I was updating the sub and there are a few changes that are not yet entirely finished/tested, and are also not mentioned here yet.
The big update from a few months ago broke several things in the sub, including the automated reactor circuit. Most crucial things were fixed already, but it is not in optimal shape yet.

For some reason the horizontal door leading to the ammo storage and armory doesn't exist?

@Alchameth I could have a look at that as my next project. It would require stretching the hull to create the actual room, but it might be pretty neat. The trade-off for more guns, size and probably power would then be slower movement/handling than the original Orca.

A mk2, balanced, scout version is fine. I challenge you to make a deep diver out of it. Add some guns and extra space maybe?

@Alchameth Yes, especially the bottom really suffers from the lack of guns. I didn't add an extra gun there because I tried to keep the vanilla balancing intact as much as possible, and the Orca is still a scout. However, it has just about the best handling of all vanilla subs, so with a little skill and the help of the discharge coil you should usually be able to get you enemies in gun-range.
