5. In the panel where the program functions are listed, select "Editor" > "Settings". In the "Editor settings" in the Normal fields, where you will have numbers written, this is the scale that we want to change :) Change as you wish. Do not forget to check the box for "SCS's Europe map UI corrections" after setting up.
6. Save the map using the button with the disk "Save Map". Wait for saving.
7. In the documents where the mods are stored, in the "mod" folder, another folder will be created as "user_map". You need to go there.
8. Open my modification "Real Time and Odometer.scs" with the 7zip or WinRAR archiver, and in it, delete the "map" folder and copy the entire "map" folder from the "user_map" folder, which is outside the archive.
9. Ready, launch the game through Steam. Not through the shortcut by which you launched this editor.
GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!
1. Ok, so, if you are already familiar with the structure of mods for ETS2, you can skip the first step, although you can use my modification as a basis :)
2. Approximately along this "G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64" path you need to find "eurotrucks2.exe", and for convenience copy it to the desktop.
3. Then in the properties specify "-edit europe" where the path to launch is written, immediately after the quotes. That is, you should get something like this ""G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\eurotrucks2.exe" -edit europe" taking into account the name of your disk.
4. Launch the game using this shortcut, however, if you did everything correctly, the map editor should launch instead of the game.
when you're stationary in the truck, time goes at 1:3 but when you start driving time flies at the usual SCS speed arrrgh
I actually prefer 1:3 so basically you've made the game even better!
Many thanks dude!
Dowl's ProMods High Quality Background Map + scale hack disable is working as long as they're given highest priority :)
But if it's really important to you, like I said, I can look at it and try to do something, but I can't promise you :D
I was using Dowl's ProMods Complete Afroeurasia Background Map but i'll try his other one ProMods High Quality Background Map, really appreciate your mod/work btw
maybe its time to ditch my map mods..
I use a 1:1 time scale mod from truckymods but it messes up the map also, i was hoping yours would fix it..
