I don't have the motivation/time to maintain this right now.
And that you will relax this at a later date.
I wnated to do some heavy modifications since it seems you lost motivation
If you authorize it of course
So desert mountains will be hard to see, desert super bright, etc. if u disable that stuff by deleting the terrain stuff. Blame paradox reeee >.<
If you get everyone to use it then the checksum will change for everyone and you will have no issues
Unfortunately Paradox is unresponsive, lots of 'we dont do dev here contact XX' and then no reply so unless someone can get a post on forums or something to get them to fix this it's no dice.
Paradox refuses to respond so I guess this will modify checksum :(
I've fixed a few minor errors, and isolated the terrain mess up.
Unfortunately the issue lies in my workaround for checksum conflicts.
If I submit the fix now the mod will change the checksum so it will be useless for rmultiplayer.
I'm contacting paradox and hoping they can let me know of a workaround or two, or maybe expand the modding capabilities to be more user friendly.
If that doesn't work not much I can do to workaround this. Sigh.
No guarantees, might fix sometime but I have too much other stuff to work on for now.
Maybe when I get back into it, next DLC? Will see. Or if more people use this :\
Definitely no 'black screen' so xd
Plus the supply-mode railroad pathing doesn't even match the on-map railways, e.g. goes to same tiles but map is left-right while supply mode is right-left.
It's why its !_ so it gets loaded before 00_ xd
Terrain map mode colors are mixed in with terrain movement penalties/etc.
If you don't care about terrain map-mode just delete !_terrain
Otherwise if you play with mod that changes terrain penalties, need to merge
i.e. Copy colors from my !_terrain (vanilla stats) to the modded 00_terrain or vice versa etc.
Planning on doing so later maybe
You can modify maparrow.shader and these:
// Camera-distance fade control
#define CAM_MAX 400
#define CAM_MIN 350
Adjust until the battleplans fade to your liking. Lemme know what you end up with and I'll just port it into my mod :>
For airbases, unoccupied and occupied look quite different to me? For one thing the unoccupied is reverse gradient so its an indented button + its black/grey + steelblue border, while occupied is light grey/white + a normal button.
The mod linked has way too much color on screen - You should be able to make it override my mod's airbase icons if you prefer them .-.
Having them be different colors is helpful to quickly identify where your planes are at.
That's too far out to make proper adjustments to the battleplans, especially when they are overlapping. What is the line to adjust this in the files? I can make my own edit to tune it the way I like it.
I certainly appreciate wanting more clarity at close zooms, but I still need to be able to make small adjustments to the plans, which i want to be zoomed in quite a bit more.
I find them distracting when im trying to micro units i.e. 99% of the time during zooms below 600
For airbases, I can maybe rescale the smaller ones to be smaller. I'll take some more feedback then start doing more tweaks :)
Still nicely done
