OgreStack: Pokéballs stack together resulting in loss of Pokémon. (This behavior can be avoided with the right overrides in the OgreStack file)


Hello, I am looking to override OgreStack file to separate each pokéballs as you are suggesting above. But I can't find the item Defname for Pokéballs.

After doing some research, it looks like the Pokéballs are defined in the file "ThingCategories" and are called <defName>PW_PokeBall</defName>

Can anyone confirme me on that ?

There's a Discord community of modders working on it.
Progress is slow, but it's happening.
It'll take less than Vehicle Framework or Save Our Ship 2 did, that's for sure.

I've been streaming this the last week or so (I'm playing 1.4 because of a different mod I really love), its pretty good/fun. Works with other mods pretty well.

For everyone curious about when this mod will be updated to 1.5, it has been submitted to Mlie, so eventually at some point it will be updated. As it stands, it's too broken to be played stably on 1.5, so if you really want to play Pokeworld, you'll have to play on 1.4 for now.

@The Dutchman I know more than you think. Even if some mods CAN work in different versions, it's not a good idea to flagrantly try. The game ITSELF warns you against doing that, because that can cause problems, like what Kruglar experienced. You really shouldn't accuse others of talking about stuff they don't know anything about, WITHOUT BACKING UP YOUR REASONING.
WHY and HOW is what I said "blatantly false"? Where's your proof? Because I have proof to the contrary. IT'S KRUGLAR'S COMMENT. He tried to use a mod in a version it's clearly not yet updated to work for, and problems occurred. I probably exaggerated. But I'm not wrong.

good amount of mods do work out of the gate. Thats why they tested and shared, so others wouldnt have to try it out. I have a good solid couple that havent been officially updated but still work.

I guess palworld hit Nintendo hard and ruining things for people. They taking out pokemon mods and other things left to right. Even if they are 10+ years old. Jeez, calm down.

lol looks like I'm not the only one who keeps checking to see if this has gotten updated for 1.5. As to the Nintendo takedown issues I sincerely hope that wont reach the workshops, although it sadly wouldn't surprise me.

Just a heads up, Nintendo just issued takedowns on the Garry's Mod workshop for anything related to their stuff. +20 years of stuff is being removed, and I'm worried it might happen here too... :'(

yea that is kinda the point. Just a bunch of diversity for the map and how the world is built, This could be one of the best mods imo to make debatibly the best pokemon experience.

That's all i could think of at the moment but I'd love to hear others ideas and I'll come back to add more suggestions if wanted. But imagine stumbling across a charizard getting hunted by a pack of bedrill because it ate one of their eggs, or a wild poliwrath that's pretty strong because it evolved of it's own merit, or a pack a pidgey jumping a defenseless eevee. i just feel like the possibility's for this mod are endless and i want to see a more dynamic ecosystem.

Hey i was wondering if you can make pokemon wildlife more dynamic? Like pokemon hunting eachother for food (group hunting?), maybe nests where multiple of a pokemon defend their eggs (They go manhunter if you harm or touch the egg or something (though more dynamic for other wild pokemon that may consume eggs (maybe a actual defense system where they try and stop others from getting close to the nests altogether? (though im sure these would be complicated to implement so i wont keep my hopes up)))), a hierarchy system where lower evolved pokemon hang around their evolved forms (lower forms protect higher or vice versa), aggressive pokemon that actively seek out fights with others (regardless of if same pokemon) to level themselves and evolve themselves (somewhat dynamic so they don't just fight till they die (maybe a simple system like, as long as they aren't full health they don't seek out fights?))

Is this compatible with A dog said... prosthetics or something similar? Doing a medieval playthrough and I dont seem to be able to replace any limbs, except being lucky and buying some healing powder from a merchant or smth.

Hi I subscribed during 1.3 and I'm still playing on the 1.3 version of Rimworld, only now the mod only shows 1.4 as a tag and I get a warning regarding the versions not matching. Can I still play with this mod?

We can techincally play 1.5 on the unstable branch, but trying to GENUINELY play 600 mods on the UNSTABLE branch is completely moronic.
