its really helpful in modded games too, like with the shadowverse mod, or infinite spire/endless mode, where bosses can have 10million hp like here :)

The powers and the physiotherapy card are very broken which enables very fun strategies. And the whole concept is very funny too. Great mod!

So eh just a hint: Don't use the card the purges all of your attacks earlygame.
I ended up with a deck consisting of 5 defends and 2 skills that gave block/peaceful

Every time I play this mod, I have so much fun that I'm glad that the creator just 100% ignores all of the "too OP" feedback (including mine). Who cares how well-tuned the game is when it feels this fun to play?

I feel like the mod would feel better flavor-wise and balance if the basic strike and defends were reduced by one value. I think humans should dtar out weaker than the base characters.
Otherwise, I love it, and I'll keep on playing until Max ascension.

The MK3A2 crash described a few comments below has been fixed! Also, survivalist DOES work that way; it scales based on the number of Junk cards you have, then performs its effect once!

guns are cool :) ive been playing this as a 2nd mod to compliment another character, and with about 350 cards so far ,its hard to get guns with only about 5 gun-related card but when i do it really helps, especially with a bandana that gives me gold when i attack for first 3 turns :)

My first run ended by beating the super boss with 10,000 HP that the Isaac mod adds in using a relic to replay Sanitation after every turn, which eventually snowballed into an exhaust pile of 111 cards dealing thousands of damage and building up a few hundred block. It's gotta be the most OP character I've played, and I was just running a mostly pacifist deck with a Spring Cleaning as my only attack card. I'll try it again with way less other mods enabled to get a more vanilla experience. Maybe try a gun build next time.

Fun character with a lot of potential ways to play. When I first downloaded this mod I immediately ran it up to like Ascension 15, which I almost never do. IIt may be in my top 5 mods.

The downsides are, as others have pointed out: some cards are just super OP relative to others (Rare guns in particular are auto-take and auto-upgrade at every campfire and you'll mow through everything).

Also: all the cards have way too much text on them! Even with the goofy keywords-in-corner thing. The base game tries really hard to make sure each card is exactly the right amount of complex; the too-much-text is a symptom of cards doing too much here. The Hermit is a good example of cards that do conditional things while managing to keep the text down.

this character is so OP. I made ascention 0 to 20 in win streak with any strategy. Healthyness (all skills and 1 gun), technique (loop with front kick), guns (guns mastered are SO BROKEN), junk with junk monster. but anyway, this character is so fun, i love the diversity of various types of strategies in one single mod.

hi maybe 1 new relic (based on my understanding of how Technique works), could be something like a "relic of momentum"... where "any" technique played later in the same turn, also counts as technique :)

harold doesnt have many relics, but maybe another one could be a "dazzling bling chain relic" where harold only loses 50% gold from the mugger/thief combats when hit :)

Very powerful but also extremely fun with a ton of interesting ideas. One of my favorites, and I've tried plenty. Wish the Aging mechanic got a little more support, using pacifist effects to stack Peaceful is a really cool idea - maybe even stalling with Nap and Legal Action.

But there are just too many fights that outscale you - 12 turns is a huge requirement, even if you have up to 3 (!!) Aging cards in your deck and multiple nap effects. It sucks to auto-lose to the three cultists hallway fight, or the Giant Head.

Here are some possible solutions, in order of how effective I think they'll be:

1. Add a couple other cards that apply Aging effects
2. reduce the number of turns til death (maybe 10?)
3. Have aging effects scale somehow (maybe each new time you add aging, it increases, so the first time you apply aging, it applies 1, the second time, it applies 2, the third time, it applies 3, etc. This could reward people for taking multiple aging cardss.

Cute, but on my first playthrough I started getting a bunch of healing, and then more healing, and then I got a ringing in my ears and my peripheral vision started fading out, and I had to unsubscribe.

Interesting mechanics, but way too strong. Good foundation, but needs to be tuned imo. Crescent Kick, for example, is just crazy strong. Has too much draw, even starting power has +1 card/turn.

Good Mod, one of my favourite ever.
Even managed to go all the way to the Heart with the three keys with a Technique build.
Unfortunately the heart is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight.
But it's fine! I'm definitely not bitter or anything about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damage of the heart. Not at all mad.
