Hey Spite - love the rover. Had some trouble getting the lower cargo containers to print (along with a few of the connectors) but managed with the hand welder.
Mid wheels wouldn't place until I removed those extra light armour slopes you mentioned below. Ground them off then the wheels placed fine.
Going to try with attaching pistons to the hinges before the drills - will let you know how it works.

Ok, thanks for letting me JarutheDamaja, I'm just glad you got it all working!

Yes I do run a couple of mods but I also tested in a new vanilla world. Same issue, as soon as I put 1 steel plate in the welder ship, every block gets welded up properly. But that has nothing to do with your BP, it's a general bug I belive. For me all is fine now. Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, just checking, do you have any mods running? As I am unable to reproduce the issue of all those unwelded blocks using LG welders.

The only blocks that don't get built for me are the two light armour slope blocks in the screenshot

Today it all went fine, I think the bug is that you need at least 1 steel plate in the inventory (even in semi creative) otherwise some blocks refuse to be welded. (Also with LG welder) So as long as one makes sure to weld the suspensions last, there are no issues with your BP.

I always thought that small welders are better for small grids and vice versa, but gonna try the LG welders then. But it feels more like a pointing issue, similar to drilling downwards now with the handdrill. I'm basically touching the hinges and some lights with my welders but they don't weld.
The small welders have much less range, compared to the LG ones, but they still are able to weld 2 or 3 small blocks deep.

Hmm, I wouldn't know, since I haven't ever tried printing these with small gird welders. But I'm not sure if the SG welders have as large a range as the LG ones?

Can it be that small welders are bugged at the moment? Have the same issue, but also with other blocks. Lights and the the hinges on the outside and also some blocks on the inside. They are not near the wheels and in range of my welder. Needed to weld them with the hand welder.
Tried also one of my projection - same issue.

But that block you showed in the screenshot is different. Also the orange corner tip above the middle wheels.
Needed to remove the suspension, for some reason the projector is able to add the wheels when these blocks are in place, but not via the "add wheels" button.

Hi Vyanie,

So I had a go at printing it a few times and I see that there are two armour slope blocks (one on each side) that refuse to print when the wheel is placed.

It looks like this: https://imgur.com/cj7rbYO

Is that the same problem you are having? If so, I'll just remove those two blocks from the BP.

But is sounds like you are having another issue, could it be that the wheel height setting is not at its lowest setting (which is the default)? If so, it could be that the wheels are too high up, and getting in the way of the other blocks.
Vyanie May 5, 2021 @ 8:27pm
the brake lights and everything around the wheel are whats missing, it seems to happen on all the wheels
Spite  [author] May 2, 2021 @ 7:54pm
Hmmm, it could be a corner armour block or something like that which doesn't want to print if the wheel spawns and is in the way, does that sounds like it could be the problem?

What blocks are missing, according to the projector?
Vyanie May 2, 2021 @ 11:52am
Question when building, for some reason if the wheel is finished there are blocks missing, conversely if all the blocks are finished the wheel will not be made any idea?

Thanks Robosium,

Yeah, IRL stuff got in the way (and is still), but I'll be making time for more ISL stuff where I can.

Next up should be a Vehicle Flatbed Trailer ;)

Nice seeing you upload blueprints again, even if it's a simple dlc-free version of pre-existing.
Spite  [author] Apr 28, 2021 @ 11:14pm
Thanks, glad you like them!

Kay, thanks.

Your designs are nice
Spite  [author] Apr 28, 2021 @ 6:15pm
hi there Soul_XP,

None of the scripts are necessary, they just make things more convenient. That's the goal for all my designs
Soul_XP Apr 28, 2021 @ 1:34pm
Is the trailer manager script necessary?
