I agree I never really liked how these skyboxes came out myself but people seemed to like them.

It really needs clear lines and blocks of colours to work well which is the opposite of what skyboxes are.

I've tested with this mod and works well on 1.43, so updates are not required (If necessary DOWL will update it, so no worries)

I have added this mod to my Collection, and tested it, it worked perfectly before... since the newest Version SCS released of ETS the Skybox turned back to the Default resulution by SCS. Kinda sad, since the Sky really looked better with the mod, wich made Pictures much detailed. I would really appreciate if you would like to Update the Mod ASAP. Definetly would by appreciated from many

I have been using it for a while, but I am not sure if it works properly. It seems that there is no obvious change in the clarity of the weather, and I don’t know if there are any prioritization requirements.promods is at the bottom of the MOD list, and DOWL's High Resolution Skyboxes ETS2 is only above promods

A lot of artefacting and pixelation, the Gigapixel AI is a hit or miss, mostly miss in this case...

Hi folks, I have released update 1.1 which should fix the occasional weird "joins" between clouds and other strange artefacts like that. If you still see some let me know.

Not tired on ATS yet but seemed to be OK in ETS2.

Will test it, because RBW give me huge FPS drops although a strong machine (i7 11700k paired with a RTX 3060)... The new lighting system is lovely but missive 4k clouds from NL a lot :( Hope the bug reported here with the faulty texture will improved shortly :) Will report back my first impresions, thanks for your efforts

Yes it's 1.1GB because each skybox texture is about 10-40MB and there are over 100 of them. Larger textures take up a lot more space than smaller textures and these skyboxes are 4x the size of the vanilla ones.
