Hey thanks for the compliment - it means a lot
(From Dr. Oz The Great And Powerful)
I tested this and the belief itself works its just the name Description for the belief is showing the Text Key instead of the name for some reason so if I ever update this mod I'll make sure to fix it but I'm probably not going to issue a patch just for that. (I mean the mod still works better than like any Ubisoft game...)
Belief Ideas
(From nicovallejos)
Some decent belief ideas have been suggested so if I'm able to do an update I'll try to incorporate some of them. Religion specific beliefs are not a thing in Civ5 though (although I wish they were).

(From Jedi Yadiyada)
(also here's a late thanks for the compliment to the mod
When I first made this belief it was stronger but then people complained it was too strong so I nerfed it and people said it was too weak so I found a middle ground between the two which is the way the belief is now. This belief seems to be the most controversial belief in this pack because every seems to think it should be stronger or weaker than each other but I think I like where the belief ended up. I do appreciate all the feedback I've gotten on this belief though.

Adding More Culture Boosts
(From ian.m.reed)
I guess come to think of it there could be more culture beliefs. I don't have any specific ideas for any but if I'm ever able to get back into modding I'll think about trying to add some.

Merci Beaucoup!
Je connais un peu le français alors j'ai décidé d'essayer de traduire ce mod. (This sentence I used help from google translate so hopefully it makes sense lol)

First off let me say some of these are late replies so I apologize for that.

Jihad does not mean war but I would view it as the spreading of Islam (which is still a narrow definition).
This has often enough been done via war/terrorism/persecution, being why we associate Jihad with Holy Wars, but it can also be spreading Islamic culture/faith to the non-Islamic by verbal means or cultural pressure.
I gave it a culture bonus to show the expansive nature of Jihad, if you will: it lets you grow your borders faster and helps you dominate other's cultures (although you can only do the latter in BNW).

I'm sure it would have nothing to do w/ BlouBlou's mod and must be a compatibility issue with one of JFD's. I would (just for good measure) try this by itself and make sure that everything is showing up and then try to play around with the other mods your using to find the compatibility issue. If there is one I can (probably) fix it.

Well, ziggurats are already in game but synagogues are doable if I get around to it.
There is a mod here that already adds 'em though: Israel New Beliefs - might be worth a try.
And not to mention crushingly bad on Deity
The workshop is finicky like that, unfortunately; I've had similar problems with mods not downloading or disappearing when you update them.
In any event, this Discussion outlines a fix which has worked for me.
I've copied in the important part:
Nysa wrote:
Unsubscribe from all mods, then delete the Cache-Folder, start Civ5 again and subscribe to the mods from within the ingame-browser. The game should start downloading them then. However, the game doesn't show mods until they're done downloading, so if you're downloading big mods they will take a while to show up. Just give the game some time (1-2 Minutes if the mods are >1mb), don't un- and re-sub all the time, that might screw up your download.
If that doesn't work, you could try the solution in post #9. Also, in my experience, sometimes you just have leave the mod list open for a minute or 2 before it starts doing anything.
One True Faith has to stay an Enhancer belief as it does Enhancer stuff. I don't really think it's (that} OP but I debuffed it anyway.
Also, the Reformation beliefs have to stay that way cuz they do reformation stuff. I think they are useful and certainly moreso than: Sacred Sites, Religious Fervor, and Heathen Conversion. Also I don't get Piety policies just for the Reformation belief cuz the Policies' benefits are good. Especially if you like building Holy Sites. And on Prince/King I always have more Culture than Policies I care about the Culture cost is not really an issue for me. The beliefs are in line with Jesuit Education but I realize the Buildings that Jesuit Education deals with are "more important" so I did buff my new beliefs a little.
people person:
I wish I could but it’s over my head. Doing something like tithe, I've tried, and for some reason can't be done in XML or SQL.
Lord Ursus:
Thanks for telling me; I just fixed it.
I personally think "One True Faith" just gives player way to much benafit as a Enhancer Belief i mean suriously the equal of ( albeit weeker ) 4 Beliefs in 1. If that was a reformation i could easly call that reasonable in the base game mainly because you would be commiting 4 policies into Piety.
As for the the new Reformations I think a lot of people would agree with me on this, that there is just no real good reason to justify sac-ing 4 policies into Piety to get one of these relatively lackluster new reforms At least I don't see it
On the Flip side however i don't really see the new reformations turning imbalanced if you were to make them into enhancer beliefs
I played a little bit and they're a nice touch to the game, good work with the balancing!
From reading the forum page for the mod manager I've found out that it does not support SQL files. This would be the problem since the last update made this mod all SQL-y .
Apperently, there is a tool, found here [forums.civfanatics.com], that does support SQL mods
I hope that helps.
