I also heard that Valve is going to restore original purpose of broken Scottish Handshake model. The question is when? After turning stock bottle into c_model they bugged its ability to break so they'll have to fix it too.

Good news. Valve has re-added broken model to TF2 game files. It's actually visible in game after Demoman's death with Scottish Handshake equipped.

I'm not sure, it's meant to break. Valve removed that feature when they implemented it into the game officially.
