@Baseball Legend2 Empty workbench is an alert from another mod, they will have to add a patch for it to ignore the fireplace since it does not have any recipes.
The event is a random chance during the winter, so it may happen multiple times.
I have not changed the code for presents and the actual code is defining the amount to 2% of the maximum stacksize of the item.

Also presents usually give more than just one of whatever item they drop. I don't mind this, I actually prefer it, but the mod description claims that they only drop 1 of something so I figured I'd report that too. Again, could just be one of my other mods messing it up

Not sure if this is a bug or not but I've consistently had Christmas parties and presents occur 1-5 times throughout Winter. I don't really mind it because it's funny but I wasn't sure if it was intended or not.

I also have the fireplace triggering the "Empty Workbench" alert.

It's possible that either of these are some kind of mod conflict since I have over 250 active mods but I figured I'd report it anyway.

Gifts can now be turned off, also removed the interaction spot. Should remove the standing-bug

It can also be problematic when a present crashes through my goddamn Dubs Skylights greenhouse, takes out 9 whole panels of glass and causes my crops to die from the cold >:p Thanks, Satan. I mean, Santa.

The present was a drought, btw.

I'd also recommend implementing an option to disable christmas gifts from landing as this feature can be problematic with certain scenarios causing more bugs.

Hey @Mlie just wanted to give you a heads up that this mod is causing a standing bug, its because the presents that land have a spot for opening that when blocked (in my example it landed next to a mountain wall) will cause the AI to bug out in turn making the pawns stand trying to calculate how to get to the objective.

I see. So there's no way to modify it to not use up fuel, yea? That's unfortunate. Still a really useful mod since the fireplaces last longer than a campfire and thus don't require a refuel as often.

I've noticed that fireplaces will still burn through fuel when they've been flicked off. Is this intentional?

hey mile I love your updates of mods I super appreciate it, however I have a question about this one. In Ideology I think it adds a Christmas Tree, i've never really messed with it but if I add this mod will there be two different seperate christmas trees?

hi you might be able to do this "visually" in game..

sort of like as an optical illusion... if you make a new game and go into dev mode, you can make stuff for free to test things out) :)

@✪Kurosendo You should still have the season of winter, even if the weather is permanent summer. This mod should trigger during the winter months, regardless of what biome youre in.

I got this for the fireplaces, but they lack the functionality of the other temperature buildings I have. Mainly there was no way to pause fueling them (and tbh, I can't recall if that is vanilla or not at this point...). Can you add that in somehow?
