From what little testing I've done it should still be good. If you do notice something let me know and I'll do my best to look into it.

Is this Mod still functional?

I'm not able to see the components in the assembler I've used this mod before and its one of my favorites am I missing something?

@Hype365 and @Ludaaver
if you want more solar panels in sizes of 1x1 Solar Panels you can check my mod that I made. It's a combo of 1x1 and High Tiered Solar Arrays and mayeb yo uwill enjoy it.

Hello ,I want to inform you that I made a mod which is a fusion between your mod and 1x1 Solar Panels. I used textures and models from 1x1 Solar Panels and values for power generation + required items to assembly which makes your mod requirment for my mod) from yours mod

I know it's been awhile but, I second Luduaver's comment. Specifically small grid 1x1 would be super useful to me in building small rovers (like Mars Rovers). Some half block angled ones would be interesting too for making deploy-able octagon solar panels for rovers.
Aryemis Jul 26, 2022 @ 8:51pm
Heya I'm building a server with some buddies and we'd like to use these solar panels with our tiered tech setup.
Is it okay if we use these solar panels in our mod ?
Will be unlisted and link back to this mod of course !
Luduaver Jul 22, 2022 @ 8:54am
Thanks for the great mod you created!
It would be interesting if there were more sizes for the panels!
For example: 1x1, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 2x2, 2x3

I'm all for the change in colour mate, good idea, just because the first few commercial panels sold were blue doesn't mean they all have to be for ever. I'm colour blind for they don't stand out too much to me but the fact that yours weren't certainly did. Goodonya.

Concerning design, would it be possible to get versions where we can change the color of the lights indicating the power.
Concerning functionality armored airsealed window blocks with solar energy gathering capabilities would be the next higher tier to aim for in research i guess =)

This is a wonderful mod! Thanks for working hard to make these, @AViegarien! I especially like the realistic names for each of the different types of solar panels.
CTH2004 Mar 24, 2021 @ 7:58am
You should make some panels that require multiple of them (One that uses both multi-junction and dual-junction?

And, a teir 1.5, slightly better than vannilla, costs more than teir 2, but all the components can be made in the Survival Kit

@AViegarien

Any chance we can get a copy of your panels in half-height? There is such a natural break in the model that I find I really want a single block section. eg a solar panel only 1 block long like you 'snapped' on of these in half? Ideally we'd get both halves (one with the emissive bar and the other without). Or barring that, a version of the same panel without the emissive bar?

It's possible, if it is found that there is a conflict I'd be interested in knowing what it's doing. There's only 2 things I can think of that could be the cause: a) a corrupted download from the steam workshop, or b) one of the mods is changing the component groups for assemblers.

I would suggest loading a new world with just this mod. See if the components are there, if not it's most likely a otherwise it's probably b.

I added the mod in to my world but I can't find the components in the assembler. I have some other mods that change components and ingredients. Could it be a conflict? The blocks do appear in my list.

These are the solar panel that should be in the game. Big thumbs up. I love that they are powerful but not over the top. They are just vanilla enough to on resources to fit great.
Snakewitch Dec 3, 2020 @ 8:47am
Easily the best description to a mod I have ever read.

Hmm, i have made a mod where blocks can be upgrade rather then having to replace them with another. I have to check if the visuals of a block can be changed for an individual block during its lifetime. If so, one could combine all the high tech solar cells here into upgrades of the regular solar panels.
Mokowna Nov 26, 2020 @ 5:33am
Thanks @AViegarien, that’s some beautifull work of technology you give us here, had to subscribe. I think it’s fairly balanced, the design is great, i love it !
Revrand Wolfwood Nov 14, 2020 @ 11:40am
Lets forget the mod for a second and talk about the sales pitch that you threw at us in the beginning of the description. After reading that I had to download it because someone who is willing to put that much creativity into a description already makes a great mod. Thanks for the centering aspect as well, some of my builds use centered solar panels but the basic vanilla panels just do not have the right look to them for the build.
Hydraxion Polid Nov 5, 2020 @ 3:26am
my soul is now finally at rest. You have my blessing, please make us more joyous with your amazing work and ideas. :)<3
Chilli fries Sep 27, 2020 @ 10:19pm
Thank you. you beautiful bastard thank you. The new look and being able to centre them makes my soul happy
ShadyEntree Sep 13, 2020 @ 11:08pm
now this, i could see replacing the space engineers solar panels. looks great
Nehtiyalyr Sep 13, 2020 @ 8:01pm
The mod it's great, it works nicely and the looks are awesome without being too distant from vanilla, the option of centered ones it's the cherry on the cake...
Any plans for, maybe, a hyper-junction cell?
Tbagnsnobalz Sep 13, 2020 @ 8:00am
Looks great, trying them out now :)
Mort_Noire Sep 12, 2020 @ 7:18am
Today in "things that should have been in the game already"

Nice mod :selike:
Cmdr. DoomForge™ Sep 11, 2020 @ 8:18pm
These are some very nicely done solar panel arrays, I like the model style on them too.
Copper Sep 9, 2020 @ 2:11am
Very nice!
AViegarien  [author] Sep 8, 2020 @ 1:38pm
lol, it wouldn't be me if there wasn't at least one dumb error or typo. I'll get that fixed up XD

And I'll try and get more pics, normally I have a few ready when I publish, but this time for some reason I just didn't.
Julia Sep 8, 2020 @ 1:13pm
i just found a little error while building "Multi-Junction Solar Array" the Cells them self don't are named Multi but Mutli (M U T L I). Hope i could help :)
Inq182 Sep 8, 2020 @ 10:30am
I think this is a really good approach to "tiered" blocks, there doesn't need to be a designation of tier or anything, just better blocks
Wolverine Sep 8, 2020 @ 9:23am
Such potential, more pics please
Korvatus Klok Sep 7, 2020 @ 8:16pm
It would be awesome if they implemented this into vanilla. A very end game upgrade.
