If that's the case, perhaps someone should bug Mlie for 1.4?

From testing and my limited knowledge of C#, it seems to happen to item crafted using recipeDefs instead of recipeMaker, so things made with the later method won't work
Thank you for the reply.
This is quite interesting. I'm surprised that it requires so much extra resources to increase quality. Indeed, it sounds like the amount of resources required is roughly the same as what is needed to craft a new one.
So if we were to summarize: This mod will trade resources to increase quality while saving time (instead of crafting from scratch).
1. Upgrading does require a small amount of work, not proportionate to the item/build type as far as I can see, just takes a few seconds on 3x mode.
2. Increasing quality does require a small amount of work, not proportionate to the item/build type as far as I can see, just takes a few seconds on 3x mode.
3. It does require resources to increase the quality - it did use 72 muffalo wool to upgrade a normal pair of overalls to good (cost 80 fabric to make) and 157 marble to upgrade a good bed to excellent (cost 125 to make). For the lack of extra work time though, I'd say it can be worth it.
Upgrading also uses resources - 2 components to turn a fueled stove into an electric stove.
Q1: Does upgrading a building require time (i.e., workAmount)? Or is it instant?
Q2: Does increasing the quality of something require time (i.e., workAmount)? Or is it instant?
Q3: Does increasing the quality of something require extra resources? And, if so, how much? (A fraction of the resources required to built it from scratch, I would assume.)
I'm asking because these details seem potentially important, but are not mentioned in the description.

Hope it helps!
Right-clicking on doors to upgrade them into autodoors and on items to increase quality results in a root level exception in OnGUI()
Srsly though, great mod, and that's what I came here to say.
please....
:-)
How did I manage to miss this mod?
