THE 500 POP. LIMIT IS SET TO BE ALLOWED FOR EACH PLAYER ON THIS MAP. I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE IF AOEiiHD DEVS FIXED THE UNDERLYING ISSUE OR NOT THOUGH

Yes, in the newer update map you will see some of those animals in the center of the map.

Hmm. If I remember, there are a bunch of super-animals, like the boar you fight in Attila's campaign. Something to think about?

Just go to \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Age2HD\Scenario
and rename Turtle Tactics v0-1-7-6-test.scx2 to Turtle Tactics v0-1-7-6-test.scx
works like a charm.
