This mod seems great in synergy with "Easy Upgrades", allowing you to progress with your furniture quality as your pawn's construction increases. Construction quality is overall more balanced with both mods.

@Vartarhoz - I had been working on a fully custom version of this, but I've been far too busy to spend more time on it unfortunately. It may be something I get to this Summer, but I can't promise anything.

Could be there an option to let us customize these ranges? I really hate masterwork and legendary ranks, I would like to remove them and edit remaining.

I understand how this mod can appeal to many people out there, and I appreciate the mod author for putting in the time to make it, but for me, it's a little overpowered to constantly crank out one "legendary" item after another. For those of you interested, there's another mod called "Crafting Quality Rebalanced," and it sets a MINIMUM quality level for the corresponding skill level of the pawn. For example, a pawn with level 7 crafting will produce AT LEAST a "normal," a pawn with level 10 crafting will produce AT LEAST a "good," and so on and so forth. This can also be tweaked to your desires. Also, even if the pawn is level 20, there's still only a 5% chance of a legendary item being constructed/crafted; this nullifies it from being overpowered. HAPPY QUALITY CRAFTING, EVERYONE!

Is there any way to lock it so that a 20 doesn't equal legendary, and legendary takes inspiration or something? I feel like being able to crank out Legendaries on a regular basis is a bit much for me.

Updated to resolve Biotech issues.
@TwotoolusFly I can't reproduce this error, is this actually affecting anything? As I think this may just be a main menu bug.

Didn't own biotech previously but had a suspicion there may be something from it that breaks, I just bought it and am working on this now.

Maybe an option for, say, a 20% chance of plus or minus one level of quality? And perhaps a 1% chance of higher by 2 or more?

I'm working on updating all my mods to 1.4 today.
This mod has been something I've wanted to do a complete rewrite for and add in additional features / compatibility, but I haven't found the time.

I decided to try this mod and just quickly made a game with default settings and built three chairs. All of them were the same quality - It seems like this works still. Further testing may be required.

Can you add an option to set item quality thresholds through mod settings? I’m trying to balance me game so that without special traits/abilities/inspirations pawns weren’t able to craft anything better than normal items. Otherwise, it’s kinda pointless to go explore ancient ruins or do quests for rewards when you can easily craft better gear.

I think this would need another mini update (or something alone the lines). Having the option on or off for the notification doesn't work anymore. Not sure we can do anything, just have to wait and see.

Question, how does this mod interact with Creative Inspirations? I'm assuming it still just does a basic +2 quality increase on a created item and has no effect if a pawn is level 20?

Wow, using this mod with "Quality builder" Is literally the best thing ever. This mod overwrites that one for the quality they make it, while that mod overwrites this one for using your best builders (so I guess they kind of cancel out the skill range and all that but it works), Thank you and ignore my last request please.

Hello! I don't know if it's this mod or Hospitality, but after the recent update, all the festivals/events from Ideology are ending up with poor quality no matter how high the quality level is. I tried to save before the events, but the outcome doesn't change.

@Ben its a specialist role from the ideology expansion that increases the quality of every item crafted by 1 (so masterwork would become legendary)

I really like the idea and random quality is stupid, watching my level 20 crafter produce a normal quality item never ceases to frustrate... but this seems a bit overpowered late game when you're just cranking out legendaries. could you add an option where legendaries remain random at 20? or perhaps options for all the tiers, so like a 20 legedary master is guaranteed to produce at least excellent with an X percent change for masterwork and X for legendary.
