@ParasiticSquid indeed.. (why is re-equipping armor/ammo/weapons during combat a modded rimworld only behavior and ultimately not anyone's concern because everyone enjoys playing the game with pawns that have a TTL counted in milliseconds, slightly longer if they are effective in combat), re: that Halo type gameplay but maybe it is something for the sequel where the units each are not so specifically named or type cast.

Does this or any other mod allow a mechanoid to drop their weapon and equip another? Been looking for a mod that does that for a while and ill be shocked if no one at least attempted it since biotech released. Just haven't found anything yet personally

Centipede blaster doesn't drop the Heavy charge blaster.
But the similar one with the Minigun did drop it.
That's strange. Tried that more that 3 times from save.

any plans on adding biotech mech weapons to the drop on death list? noticed none of the biotech mechs drop their weapons.

@Jorick Yes, the mod only makes them drop the weapons. It does not add quality to them

Hello, the weapons still lack the quality modifiers, except for the charge lance which belongs to the base game.

ok this is going to be a bit long im adding as i test seems with biotech and ideology the guns of the new mechanoids do not drop and are destroyied, but the old ones like the lancer still do so far none of the obvious vannila expanded stuff seems to be it, trying some of the less obvious like the story tellers and the plants... welp seems to be working adding the makeshift addons weapons mechanoids and combat mechanoids... still nothing ... arg now its working right after reloading the old list to see if the log could give me a clue... sorry for bothering you seems the awnser was turning it off and back on again,,,

using biotech and ideology... and way too many mods... but a lot of em i used before adding biotech and ideology and have no idea whats causing it... likely vanella expanded stuff i bet but seem no mechanoid weapons drop... would be nice if they were at least craftable.

well ok then. i'm asking cause, i don't know if its a mod i was using or if its the 1.4 update that removed the quality on these mechanoid weapons. the qualities on those weapons were there in 1.2 and 1.3, but i'm not so sure if it was a mod i was using or if they were there from the start...and 1.4 is when the qualities got removed for me

@Mismagius This mod just blocks the destroy on drop-flag for mechs. I can look into adding quality if vanilla removed it in 1.4

by any chance you could give the quality modifiers on the mechanoid weapons? i'm not sure if an update to this mod removed them or if the update to rimworld 1.4 removed the quality modifiers to the needle gun, charge blaster and inferno cannon

Hmm I see that mechanoids have a gear tab when down. But when I press the strip button nothing happens. I dont see a right click option to strip nor a job to strip them.

Does this also drop weapons from the newer 1.4 mechanoids or even modded mechanoids?

Asking this because of suppressor's question regarding that the needle gun did not drop.

for some reason the pikemen doesn't drop needle gun, I know that there is an incompatibility with CE, wich I had installed in a previous playthrough, an now with a different playthrough without CE the pikemen still don't drop needle guns,however, when place in devmode via spawn weapon it work
