IS there a cheat where you can OPEN all gates? someone gave me this
set_object_active
but i'm not a coder so i haven't a clue?
Something where it can open and possibly close, anything will help, as i'm on a mission (Free Families) and the damn gate is closed!

I've seen a few comments that this mod breaks background AI, but no actual hard evidence that it does cause problems, is there any truth to these claims?

When I choose "CHANGE RESEARCH" - all my research is reset to unknown status. I dont select anythng, return with "esc", but my game is corrupted.

Assuming it is, but is this safe to add / remove? Say only want to give a mill or 2 credits to skip a bit of the early game grind?

in regard to 2 just the ship keeping the order it had when you switch factions would do the trick then we could set them up ourselves with whatever loadout we wanted then set the ai order and change it's faction.

Don't know if you take requests but i have 2.

1:- being able to set "Civilian" as faction especially on stations, to keep some unique stations safe from invasions like the casino in vig space would love to make that a civ station.
also code to change station faction should also grab subordinate ships if poss.

2:-Being able to spawn a ship with a trader order instead of defaulting to the patrol order, not to in depth just maybe 3 options hold position, trade and patrol. for those times you want to give the yaki some traders :)

Anyhoo those were my requests/suggestions thnx for the immensely useful mod, it's called a "cheat" mod but i'm actually having tons of fun setting up environments with it rather than cheating, it's more like modding live in game.

@iseeu0 thx, had a mod that made every item infinite when i only wanted to cheat for some credits. Decided to load a old savegame to remove all the items :steambored:

@FROOT - Yes it is done the same way as adding a single item and then set it to 0, also there is a link to a guide at the top that has pictures to help u follow along.

@余悲 - it is not easy to add such a UI view, and i am not that good at LUA coding to make it.

Even if you don't like cheating, this mod is super helpful. Personally I always hate having to map all the sectors and stations, and in the creative mode settings, having all the sectors discovered is easy to do, but if you want all the stations and stuff, the UI makes you go sector by sector and check ALL THE BOXES lol

Thanks for the reply, but even spamming ESC didn't work, I had to shut the game down via task manager, was just unable to get out of the menu at all.

@Daf - Easiest way is to open the map and use the guidance option on the ship, and when U want to delete it use the map selection option, There is also a guide with pictures to help u along in the description top or click this link to it: CHEAT MENU FEATURE GUIDE AND EXPLANATION OF USE

Firstly, thanks for your hard work, amazing stuff.

I'm trying to Delete Selected Ship, but cannot, its a builder that's stuck in a system without a warp gate, so now my building wont ever get started.

This is what i'm doing, i select the ship by clicking on it, then CTRL+H to get the option up, use the delete ship...nothing?

What am i doing wrong?

Is there a trick to disabling the menu once activated? CTRL+H (Have yet to use it in my ship so SHIFT+H does nothing but hud removal) does nothing for me. It activated it, but I can't get it to go away now.

@cyron43 - I will update the assistant2 soon to add a new sup option in called "Amounts to deploy 10" the default amount it will spawn in is 10, in the options sub options U can choose between 1,5,10,20,30,50. The amount in "Amounts to deploy 10" will change if U say 50 it will like "Amounts to deploy 50", also all the amounts next the ships will update to reflect so as well like "F - Heavy Fighter 50"

@killyou - @Lethalite - The sips will attack any opposing faction when they are set to patrol, when they are not attacking it means the faction it sees is not seen as a enemy meaning at -15 or less relation.

@Lethalite - The pilot that is spawned in with the ships, are a part of the HIDDEN Race called "drone", I am using them as pilots since the spawned ships have more equipment on them, when they are they pilots.
It is not a bug it is intended.

@cyron43 - Not at the moment no, I like to spawn a few ships at a time and it got tedious to do one at a time

@St.Floppywuppet - This mod does not touch any faction logic, or modify came code, U may have done some thing like order to much and they went broke, while they were being attacked some were and lost a bit to much some were.

@R3ptu554nctu5 - Modifying cargo for me or for the other factions are working on my end, I have no idea how U broke the boron, with the mod by modifying cargo of ships or stations.

Also if it appears that it is not working then it means U are out of space on the selected ship or station, every station or ship can not go past 100% of the selected object storage space.

@FileHunter - From what I can see the ship actual name is "Erlking" when U build or spawn it in.

@Wolfgang Buchner - @MITKIT2049 - It is not a bug, I made a change that will make spawn ships have that colour pattern on them.

@echoes222 - At the moment the mod does not have any configured xenon stations, I will have to add them to the mod.

If you spawn an I and then make it a xenon they are hostile but do not attack they only patrol

bug report:
1. Spawn xenon ships in a far, far away sector for lulz
2. Clear spawn settings
3. Spawn PC-owned scout with 'No' for crew level and crew full
4. Observe that spawned ship has:
a. An order queue to patrol within spawned sector, random polar coords from spawn point
b. A Captain named "Unknown"
c. No ability to be commed, with the 'C' key

To be safe, I sold said ships while they were still working to avoid any comm events.

I don't know if this is a bug related to this mod but somehow after I added this mod my X4 just shut down the AI for most ships.

I cannot purchase new ships because all the stations are out of parts and no matter how long I wait no transporters bring any new goods around.

The only option I used was to increase my faction reputation with the Boron from 18 to 20 because the grind for 20 was getting too much for me.
the Savegame before the mod somehow still works.

After further testing on the issue on my end the command for cargo works as player but not for selected ship. Haven't tried with the command for all ships yet.

Love this mod BUT I've noticed a few things that are broken and don't work. Firstly the digital stuff is absolutely broken. Can't use digital morale or digital boarding for example. Secondly modifying ships cargo is broken and so is modifying stations. I wiped out the Terrans 100% and need them to regrow for the Boron quest.

Thanks a Lot für your efforts. I could not find so far the "xperimental ship" in the cheat menu. I have added all the blueprints before. But I never played the Storymode. Maybe that ist the problem.

Please, fix bug with skin, that constantly stained the ships that I spawn (For the experiment, I deleted all mods for this game and nothing changed). This is wery good mod. It gives big opportunities, but this little problem... please, fix it for us. And thank you for your works :steamthumbsup:

if i'd want to spawn full space station, let's say XEN power plant, that'd be owned by Xen, how would I do it? I only use your mod to ocassionaly add mod parts :P tried spawning a station but I do not know how to spawn a new one, just copy existing. The problem is that in my game, Xen seemingly dismantled all their solar power plants, thus they no longer build ships :D

@FileHunter - I am working on a option that will spawn in ships that is fully built (pre configured), it will be the same as the station spawn option does with the assist 2 mod, it will be in the assist 2 mod as well, it takes time to make loadouts for ships by my self and test them.

I figured it out. It was the XRSGE mod that was recently updated. That is what was causing the issues and then some.

It's the ships from the Star Wars mods but but it's also happening with with the other ships as well, however. They recently updated their mod so I'm going to assume that is likely the issue. I wasn't having as many issues with this prior to the update. I'll run the game without the Star Wars mod and let you know if I'm still having issues.

I have the problem with the missing engine only with the Xenon F and H. The Xenon K works fine.

@FileHunter - As of update 6 it is becoming harder to spawn in Xenon and some other ships, to be fully equipped. Which ships specificity did u see this happen on?

Correction, it seems none of the XL or L capital ships while spawn with engines. It seems to only affect carriers and battleships. I haven't had any issues with supports ships yet.
