One important note regarding CE version [www.nexusmods.com] of the Mod APIs.

Make sure you've uninstalled steam version of the APIs first, before installing CC edition. Steam version may overwrite CC version of the mod if it was not an installed cleanly.

Please try out community version [www.nexusmods.com] of the mod. From now on, report all issues on Nexus Mods or the GitHub repository. Feel free to contribute to the project!

I will upload 7.5 compatible, community version of the API on Nexus since it's MIT licensed and provide you a link in this comment section.

I can't right click on any ship on the map where the captain has anything in inventory. If I deactivate this mod, it works again.

Seems to conflict with current update.

When I select a group of fighters and try to right click a carrier to try to assign them, it doesn't let me (or it does but the options are off screen)

Yes but if they play on Geforce Now, they can only use Steam Workshop mods...and "UI Extensions and HUD by kuertee" is only available on the Nexus...

May be someone could upload this mod here on the Workshop ? Kuertee answered me : "But I've always allowed them to be uploaded by others when they offered. And, unfortunately, even if they had offered to do so, they've not actually done so. "

@Dmitral, are you inside a save game and not at the main menu? Iirc, extension options only shows up once you are loaded into a save game.

For some reason, there is no New option "Extension Options" menu. What's wrong? Disabled almost all mods except User interface extensions and HUD, VRO, Reemergence.

I hate Vortex it might be good for some mod in my Skyrim it didn't take 1/2 of my mod sad this mod didn't work or that mod didn't work with mo2 all my mod work. I for got need to fix mo2 SKYRIM HERE I COME.

The Problem: Steam Workshop mods unsupported or old version.
The Solution: There are none, Steam native users are left high and dry.
The Workaround: Download the Nexus mods, and manage your mods manually. That is not something most users want to do, know how to do, or even't slightly understand, especially since it requires even more manual work on their part for future updates.

I'm voicing this for all the casual users out there, I understand their pain. With me trying to make my own mods, I'm actually moving to managing my own mods outside steam, just so i can control versions better, and mods that collide. I understand just wanting to be able to play though.

It seems that UI Extensions and HUD by kuertee [www.nexusmods.com] addresses some issues with SirNukes Mod Support APIs, including the right-click bug.

cant right klick my ship on map with this mod installed.

so seems to be a problem with those two mods together?

The mod creates various problems in latest version. Please Update since this mod is used from many other mods which are depend on it.

Now i understand what issue you've all been talking about. As soon as any my ship picks up something into its Inventory (from a lockbox, for example) i can't right click on that ship to open its settings or alter behaviour. I currently have Protection UI off.

There have been updates to several other mods related to this issue, Kuertrees UI mod included. That was the mod from my testing that hid the protected ui button, and it only does so if you have enabled it but not updated to the new 7.5 version from their nexus page.

Don't see how the "protected UI" mode setting is supposed to help when that setting isn't even visible with this enabled

Protected UI mode has a conflict with this mod that prevents the personal information page from opening, it's easily solved by toggling the protected mode on in settings > extensions but you have to do this every time you want to access the page, which is especially a problem if the police want you to dump illegal items, those guys have no patience and no chill. -.-

FOR ANYONE COMING HERE TO COMPLAIN, PLEASE READ: for anyone wanting a fix or a update for this mod don't pester him, to fix it, go into the extensions setting and turn on the setting 'protected ui' the scripts and mods will continue working as intended, you just wont see the extensions option menu, to get that menu back just turn off 'protected ui' and wait the guy to update it when he wants to, take it from me it works, im running at least 8 mods, 2 of which require sir nukes mod api and i have the setting turned on and everything works as intented

@Wolfeman There is 2 ways to do this. Either teleport to the captain (Hotkey G with ship selected) and tell him to give you his inventory. Or you can access the ships information screen (Hotkey I), move to the "Crew" tab, under captain it will have an "inventory" option with a plus next to it. Expand that and there will be an option to drop the captains inventory.

With this mod I can't right click on Hyperion only give him orders. pls update.

@worstl Mate you are a fking godsend. Where you want me to take you for dinner? lol. Removed all personal items from the ships and they can all be right clicked again. What a weird bug. Thanks a ton!

Sidenote: Something I just noticed. Right-click functions on most of my ships. The ones that Right-clicking doesnt work on are ships that I personally have piloted. The ships ive never set foot on have no issues. but the ships that i have personally flown all cannot be right clicked. Idk what to do about that.

is it possible that this mod just nuked my save? I removed all mods from my extention folder and uninstalled everything but VRO and the rightclick is still broken. When i right click some ships it just locks the mouse to the location and rotates the screen, but wont let me right click ships. Is my save just fked?

I also had the right click problem. Enabled UI protection, this was the only mod affected. Right click works now. Please fix :)

@Fallotino yes this might block the functions of this mod, on the downside, after you play a while your game will stop working if you load a save, also if you exit the game to desktop your game will crash too and not close the application IF you use other mods, depending on this one here. Just in case if you have those issues now, make sure to unsubscribe and deactivate all other mods, depending on this.

Enabling Security UI fixed the problem

I couldn't fix the right clicking by firing the problem captains, so I removed this mod.
Found that none of my mods complained about this mod being missing LoL.
So I'm Happy :)

Problem seems to be that if the ship has any personal inventory items present then right click doesnt work. I ejected the items to space and then right clicking started working again. I managed to get to the ship information screen by comming the captain (select on map and press C) and selecting show your ship.

This mod no longer lets you right click ships in menu since latest update.
