Faction Enhancer - Econ AI Module

In 1 collection by Mysterial
Faction War/Economy Enhancer
4 items
Description
The Faction War/Economy Enhancer is a collection of (currently 4) extensions that significantly improve faction war and economy behavior, making the universe generally proceed at a faster and more interesting pace. The goal is to improve and expand vanilla behavior, not redesign the game, so in cases where Egosoft directly addresses an issue or topic, this mod won't mess with that.

This is the economy AI module. Features include:
  • Traders tend to use more of their cargo bay per run
  • Traders won't completely ignore wares that are bought above average price if the selling price is also high
  • Miners really won't enter enemy sectors for resources unless there is no other option
  • Rebuilt faction economy manager for deciding what modules/factories to build

The other modules are available here:
War Module
Economy Balance Module
Catchup Module

Not that I'm aware of. NPCs will build more/faster and have more/larger fights so that has an implicit performance impact but there shouldn't be any major performance difference.

Is there any performance issues with these mods?

Is it possible to make AI stop building many stations in sectors where there are a lot of resources?
Sectors such as:
Unholy Retribution
Eighteen billion
Cardinal's Redress
Antigone memorial
Gaian Prophecy
And other sectors where there are a lot of resources.

@Findlay then these are two separate issues, as the problem still persists with mine, and temporarily fixes when i take the captains inventory. I have way more mods than just this one though, so it's very probable it has nothing to do with this one, and i have no reason to believe it does. i do find it odd that there were two hindering the same obscure action though.

Thanks for this great job <3

The error occured even with captains with empty inventorys - at least for me. No it's gone, gods bless @Mysterial

oh, reading more through the comments it appears you don't know, the right click on certain ships not working is something in the captains inventory. if you tell the captain to hand over his inventory, you can then give the right click order.

out of curiosity, which inventory item was it? or was it just that they had inventory?

Thank you for updating. I tried it with one of my formerly "broken" safes - right mouse button error is gone. <3
