Thanks for your input, and I've just looked through the code through NPCs that I've found are broken, and the problem is in everything. My apologies, but these NPCs are all so broken I could not go about to fix their repeating quest issue and various broken dialogues without destroying all the NPCs in totality.
I'll be updating the spawntables to be more fair, but I cannot fix the NPCs repeatable issue nor the strange item issue.
If any NPCs are seriously broken I can see if I can fix them.
In the newer map I'm working on, the NPCs are far better developed and are tested.
Is there anything else unsatisfactory that I could see if I can fix? Again, thanks so much for the comments! I love seeing what people have to say about my flawed work haha!
As for the Npc, it seems like most, if not all, Npcs took only one of each items they requested, though they still need the amount stated to complete quest. I didn't really pay attention to all the items but i still see a lot of them in my inventory even after completing the quest. I just noticed the quest items at the top slots of my inventory missing only one, multiple times. And some quests that promised money never deliver after completion so i guess that balanced things out....?
And is the mayor's final quest intended to be repeatable? I don't mind the rewards though :D
1. This is something that unfortunately happens when locations are larger. I made the city to be as large as Berlin in Germany or Seattle in Washington.
2. This is not intended! This is likely an issue with underground whitelists, I'll see if I can re-create the issue and fix it.
3. I'll adjust the item spawns.
4. I'll fix that too.
5. I won't be changing the physical map, as this is sort of a time-capsule of my first map. Campgrounds were actually an afterthought, with farms being put first.
6. I thought about making caves, but again I won't want to change the physical map. I'm thinking about putting caves in a map I'm working on.
7. Could you point to a specific NPC? I haven't had that same issue before.
8. I won't be doing that, I would have to adjust so many item spawns. I'll fix it on my new map.
5. Camp area can be increased and farms can be reduced. There's only one camp kent and too many farms. Really hard to loot camping stuff.
6. Cave systems can be added if possible for some dungeon crawling experience.
7. Npc only takes one of each quest items when completing quests. Eg: Npc took just 1 metal scrap but needed 10 to complete quest.
8. It'll be nice if mods are supported.
Some feedback i'd like to give:
1. My fps dropped to around 25 when approaching the durham city. Maybe something can be done about this?
2. Walking through certain part of the sewer in durham city kills me with the quote "You killed yourself" without me doing anything. I tried twice with all stats full. Is this intended?
3. Tactical attachments are very, very rare. I killed 20+ mega without getting a single. So far i got around 5 of them by scavenging military locations multiple times.
4. Medic zombies drop medkit waaayy too often. Scorpion 7 zombies drop masks too often too.
