IDK what you are all talking about, this mod is working fine in 1.3 as it's just a set of patches and nothing has changed about the thing that it patches.

Do not use this mod in 1.3, your pawns will not tend to each other and they will die. Wait for 1.3 update.

This should still work. It uses simple text file instructions to achieve the desired results and nothing it affects has been changed in the RimWorld Core since the beta versions.

Seems like sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I find that when it doesn't do it automatically, I have to select my doctor and tell them to prioritize healing the injured.

jea me too ... i suggest getting rimworld robots and buy/build an emergency roboter ... thatkinda replaces this mod :/

But human doctors ... well :D no chance of them working efficiently if this mod won't ever be updated.

Nah it's really not working :D no matter the load order either. Doctors still queue their needs before an emergency. Don't know why :/ before 1.2 it still worked the other way :/

Seems its working for you, Black Goat, but not for everyone. No need to get upset with the rest of us. I'm glad its still working for you, but I can say the same thing that Cat@ said. Since the update, it stopped working right then and there.

We aren't the only ones who have said it either, so its obvious that SOMETHING has changed to make it no longer work as it once did. Why its working for you; no idea. However, it does NOT indeed work (for all of us).

Must be some conflict then, but I am running nothing that should interfere with it, nor does it throw up any errors. More the stranger that it was working fine in 1.1, and I added no mods between 1.1 and 1.2; yet it did not work properly.

It is very strange.

Doctors will still queue self-care after medical duties, regardless of how many medical tasks are available. In its original form the mod made it so doctors would always, without exception, choose medical tending as their highest priority. They would only queue self-care once all wounded colonists were tended, and all downed colonists were in bed\in transit.

This is no longer the case. They will break off medical treatment to self-care after an amount of medical work. As the description states; all tend is emergency. Yet many wounds are left untended as their tender goes to have a meal or a nap.

How tasks are prioritised is either changed, or the mod was changed to no longer include this function. But that was its intended function, and if it does not provide it then it is no longer functioning correctly.

Agreed with Clairelenia. This mod isn't working anymore like it used to. I still have to tell my doctors to stop recreating and paste someone's leg back on.

Hmm i try to change load order .... in my game the doctors (atm) still have their own needs before an emergency. And they don't stop doing their action if there is an emergency. Before 1.2 this mod made doctors act immediately and they did not care about their own needs anymore.

But at least i also have emergency robots just in case :/

y we really need an update for this, cant count the times where i angrily woke my medic up to treat my soldiers before nearly dying... this mod is a must!

Playing the game without this mod really makes you appreciate it. 2 colonists down, 3 medics, one's on the night shift; more than enough coverage; in fact one of the colonists is being hauled to the bed.

You know how this story ends.

Yeah, the mod exists purely to avoid tending to the self. Because a doctor going one a smokeleaf binge is a smaller consequence than someone bleeding out on the operating table.

Yes and that is the issue Xd that's why this mod existed. Doctors drop everything then and immediately treat patients.

That's why i miss this mod ... it does not work with 1.2 anymore :/

Basically this mod is a simple xpath patch that adds emergency to the tend jobs. If it's not working that means something changed deeper in the vanilla code. Or, another mod is interfering with this one.

I'm not using this mod currently and my doctors seem to be doing a pretty good job of prioritizing patients. Occasionally they try to grab a meal but that is only when their hunger bar is very low. So, perhaps game mechanics prefer self-preservation over tending to others?

1) When loaded into 1.2 game the mod does not throw any red texts, and seems to not conflict wth other mods I used.
2) While playing with this mod the pawns I have witnessed pawns to get recreation deprived / starving while treating patients. So the mod appears to be working. ((In same modpack with CE))

However there are some instances when a pawn will be left untreated for a long time because there are many trivial injuries and doctors might be overoccupied with treating 100 rabbit leg bruises and let a patiend with actual critical wound bleed out. So don't trat whis mod as a silver bullet for automation of doctor care.

Can confirm, mod is not working as intended. Doctor set to 1 but takes lunch, dinner, supper, plays chess, goes to sleep before considering patching up a patient.

does somehow not work for me. pawn on priority 1 doctoring puts hurt pwan in medbed who is about to bleed out, proceeds to go to the messhall, have a light supper, then off to sleep... with someone.
patient died.
