Yea this mod is little bit OP BUT the more skill colonist has more wealth he generates so it kinda balances itself

Can you please add some mod settings? I love the idea of the mod but I think it's too strong, after a few months-a year of in game time pawns end up being super strong, like everyone has at least a 7 in every skill. Frequency of craftsmanship interactions and XP gained per interaction would be great to start with. thanks.

Hey, this doesn't seem to be taking the Talking stat into account. I have a slave without a tongue, and she's chattering away, but only with Craftsmanship talk events.

Just unsubscribe. you might get red errors the first time you load up to play after, but they are safe to ignore. after you save and reload they should be gone!

I am unable to find this on steam. I found the mod by searching for "jelly.craftsmanship rimworld" on google. That's what I saw in the save I'm using. When I look at your workshop, I can't find the mod either. I know nothing about the workshop, but is there like a publish/unpublish button or a way to hide a mod? That may be activated. Or the workshop is buggy. That wouldn't be too surprising either.

If the "interests" mod uses the games built in method for passions, it should work fine. :)

I likely goofed my loadfolders xml, I'll fix it tonight when I get home. Temp solution would be to copy the folders into 1.3

I noticed that this mod only reads the 1.3 folder in version 1.3. Defs and languages were not read. Is there anything wrong with this?

So, concept: turn the bug into a feature: If pawns talk about a topic that one is incapable of, on average (99% of the time) they just react as if insulted, disliking each other a little more and getting a mood debuff, but on the odd occasion, it can remove the "cannot perform job" for that skill

@vorshlumpf I've noticed this as well, pawns with passions are just teaching any other pawn those skills, a little annoying that they're teaching pawns that aren't even assigned that work type

In my game, this restriction isn't in place. Pawns without any passion in a skill will talk about it, even to other pawns who also don't have any passion for that skill.

I also think the boost from these conversations is too much. It would be nice if we could adjust the amount in settings.

It seems like the mod is activating for pretty much any pawns, regardless of whether they have either a passion or a high level in the skill. Generally one of them does, but the other one could be a 2 skill no passioned pawn and they'll still have the convo.

thank you so much. This mod adds so much flavor and brings more life to my colony. Plus my colonists get more leveled out! Of course Tanya doesn't stay at 0 melee if she's best friends with my best brawler :D
it *feels* like it's kinda OP because I do have Level Up! installed, so I find out every time someone levels up because of Craftmanship. But I'm not sure yet if it *is* OP. Either way I'd rather have this mod enriching the lives of my colonists.
