Config error in Sandbags: has stackLimit > 1 but also has drawGUIOverlay = false.
UnityEngine.StackTraceUtility:ExtractStackTrace ()
Verse.Log:Error (string)

Would seem harmless but the stacklimit also does not seem to work. Only allows 1 sandbag per stockpile tile instead of the 25 according to the xml file.

Been using this for a while but does it still work with 1.2?
Lurmey Jun 25, 2020 @ 7:23pm
If you'd like, I can amend your patches to add these tests and send over the file for you to use.
Lurmey Jun 25, 2020 @ 7:23pm
Hey, I noticed you're adding tags to sandbags and other things without first testing if other mods already added those tags. You should use a PatchOperationSequence containing both a PatchOperationTest with the Invert success tag and then your PatchOperationAdd. Otherwise, you get duplicate XML errors on startup if another mod (Fertile Fields for instance) adds those tags before your mod loads.

I'll give this a shot. I've been looking for a mod that lets you move barricades, and making it so that it only works on sandbags is a pretty good idea. 75% does seem a bit strong for cover but I'll see what it's like in action. Thanks.

same error

This is great. The nerf to sandbags made them useless and the idea that a solid steel barricade offered the same protection as a bag of sand is just ridiculous.
Deathstick Mar 2, 2020 @ 1:40pm
Making sandbags uninstallable is actually a brilliant idea! Nice work.

DontPanic Fixed.

If you encounter drawGuiOverlay error don't worry, it should be harmless :)
DontPanic Mar 2, 2020 @ 8:58am
@czpetr it seems like there is an error while loading the mod (I think it's just a warning but you may wanna take a look) : https://pastebin.com/wTib282X

@IceMaverick Fixed.

Description is contradictory. Do Barricades provide 65 or 75 cover? It says both.
czpetr  [author] Mar 2, 2020 @ 5:52am
Updated! Let me know if you find any problems.
czpetr  [author] Mar 2, 2020 @ 4:45am
Okay, I have made sandbags uninstallable, I'll also decrease their cost and weight. Update will be released in the next 2 or 3 hours, I have to go somewhere now.

I am also thinking about increasing sandbag cover to 65%. Their cover is not much better than stone chunks in vanilla.

Thanks for feedback, I am happy someone finds this mod usefull.
arch4n631 Mar 2, 2020 @ 4:18am
Good mod, thanks. I agree with others: making sandbags movable would be a nice addition.
The Mighty Swash Feb 28, 2020 @ 8:03am
One important difference to note is the terrain requirement: Sandbags can be built on bridges, barricades can not.
Absolutely Nobody Feb 27, 2020 @ 10:14pm
@Greystar most mods are for vanilla. if a mod requires the DLC it will have a purple bar above the description that says "This workshop item requires [NAME OF DLC] to be installed"
Greystar Feb 27, 2020 @ 10:08pm
Question: Does this require the DLC?
Valience Feb 27, 2020 @ 3:46pm
Radiant Dawn could be on to an idea, not that it necessarily fits with your vision. Maybe differentiate them as the barricade being a stronger, more permanent structure, while making sandbags light weight, faster to build, and movable. Easy to use them set up a forward fire base on an encounter map or to bring the materials along in a caravan?

So you'd essentially be trading durability for movability.
Dwang Zhongson Feb 27, 2020 @ 2:35pm
Well, vanilla game has got pretty strange balance decisions implemented.

It seems to me that sandbags has lost their place, since barricades provide equal cover without using rare materials. I can suggest to leave their cover abilities equal (or sandbags 2-5% worse), but tune values to make sandbags significantly faster to construct in comparison to barricades, and make them movable if possible.
czpetr  [author] Feb 27, 2020 @ 1:01pm
Well, I find it unrealistic that steel/stone barrier would be less durable than sandbags. We could also argue that obtaining stone blocks is even harder.

Thanks for your feedback through. I'll think about it.
Dwang Zhongson Feb 27, 2020 @ 12:33pm
I think sandbags have to be better than barricades, since cloth/leather are harder to obtain than wood/steel.
