having path way issues with pawns, any fix?

my colonists randomly stopped using the quarry at all for some reason, some have it as their #1 priority and just wont

Quarry-attached parts exist, with the platforms. Maybe going forward we can add mechanical linkables like auto-drills to quarry when pawns aren't present?

i have the "Quarry (1.6 Temp Don't Download)" active, is it safe to exchange them or should i stick with the temp one for now?

For some reason, sometimes when I try mining chunks or slags I get this error when the action finishes: `Couldn't add thing ChunkLimestone362571 to spawned things. Spawned thing with 0 stackCount: ChunkLimestone362571`
And I don't get the chunk or slag. Happens with both normal and modded resources.

Would be cool if there was a special quarry you could build on orbital platforms, or on your gravship. Astro mining bays that require advanced components and function like the quarries but only work in orbit.

everything i mine says failure im trying to mine steel but its 100% failure whyy same with other items except chunks

2.) I'm not sure what the 112 is. I guess it's the maximum output of an operation rolling "steel". you'll get less because the pawns mining yield etc is factored in. You should look at teh percentage next to it to see how likely you'll gett steel. with 112 and no modded resources it should be around 30% if I remember correctly. it means you have a 30% chance to get steel when you don't roll junk (60% chance for junk as default or so).
You can hover over the entries and the sliders to get a useful tooltip.if you want to know how much you could get off a quarry, it should be soemtihng like max operations (2 000 or so at default) * chance of resources (100%- junk percentage)* individual resource chance (eg 30% steel) -> 2000*0.40*0.30=240
so 240 successful mining operatiosn for steel with 112 steel max = 26 880 steel max per quarry

1.) You can place a quarry completely on green soil? I used this mod since 1.2 or so and you need a certain percentage to be rough hewn stone. the green soil is a surprise box of the stone type beneath. chunks will be generated based on the type of covered rough stone tiles. yes, you can use fertile fields to "prepare" your qaurry worksite and if you only have 1 kind of rough stone beneath, you'll only get those chunks. chunks are considered junk.

Two questions please:
1. Does it matter how much of the quarry is built on green stone floor? (Does a quarry fully placed on green soil dig up more resources than one that's only half on it?)
2. What do the numbers in the mod settings mean? 112 Steel by default, 8 Uranium. Does it mean every single quarry has guaranteed 112 Steel and 8 Uranium in it or does it merely work to set the drop chance?
By this I mean, will a quarry set up as: Steel 100, Uranium 10, Gold 10 work the same as a Quarry set up as Steel 200, Uranium 20, Gold 20 or will the latter yield twice as many resources?

People begging for updates when a new version drops are like 5 year old smashing a button for the floor in the elevator over and over. I doesn't do anything. It's not going to make it happen faster in fact it's not going to guarantee it happens at all. Either the author is on hiatis, has no intention of doing it, is busy with real life, working on it and it's taking time or who knows what. Your comments are just childish... sadly all I'm doing is feeding the trolls probably with this but I'm hoping some of you will take this to heart.

I am still playing on 1.5 but I am having an issue where modded stone types are not showing up as mine-able chunks when I place the quarry.

Dumb question, but what are the default settings for the mod? Sadly I don’t see a default button and uh I might have made it horrifically op out of frustration
