Is the Firebolt card bugged? It always inflicts 0 Burning, no matter how many Clarities I have.

Experienced my first crash in a long time when I won an act 4 run with the collector (downfall), the stacktrace is too large to post here but it was definitely this mod

Love the effort put into the mod, but I do have one complaint. I absolutely despise the Snap mechanic. I know it'd be too broken to have all the memories, but Snapping always seems to happen at the most inopportune times, and not having good luck in your run increases the frustration I have with the mod.

It also seems like the mod has been abandoned, what with no updates in a long time, though I could be wrong.

Made it through on my second run with the Wanderer. Wish there was a way to prevent Snapping, since it had an annoying habit of happening right before I could remember every memory.

It's a great mod, but has a few bugs unfortunately. They work in your favor and are quite minor, but still.

Feels like it was specifically tuned to add more decision making and depth to an StS character, which is a really cool idea, but it's a bit much for me. For what it's worth, it seems like a lot of care went into the balance.

Mod seems pretty cool so far. Misty step appears to be overpowered however. I'm very easily getting infinite block. Of course doesn't work on special enemies like Time-Eater, but it does against basically anyone else. Maybe make the block decrease by one per use or something?

Please change Remembering Sloth to something that isn't discarding cards. I've lost so many runs because of it. Any card which gives you a random Remember has a 7.14% chance of fucking you over and discarding the cards you needed to play, that's not a reliable card. And it just so happens that one of the cards in your starting deck gives you a random Remember. It's RNG and it feels really really bad. I am begging you, please change it. It ruins an otherwise amazing class.

The Cull is amazing. Keep up your hard work! Right now i main The Wanderer as it feels more fun and enjoyable than original characters. But also waiting for final release of The Cull, he is so cool even now!

@angelar For Arcane Weapon, there exists a distinction between attack damage and playing an attack in the base game, specifically with Guardian's thornslike power. Playing a multi-attack like Twin Strike only triggers the thorns damage once.

I'll file the Black Tendrils issue. Thanks!

In ascension 20 and Act 1 when I enter the "monster" room, sometimes the error occurs and it force to exit game.

Another element I neglected to mention is that the Slow debuff affects Arcane Weapon damage, and having consecutive Arcane Weapons increases the damage dealt from Slow. But Slow specifically indicates it is magnified "when you play a card." Thus, it is not evident whether Arcane Weapon damage is meant to be something that is "played" or not.

Unexpected interactions:

Black Tendrils (both the card and the debuff) reads "All damage you deal to other enemies is dealt to this enemy instead." However, blocked damage not redistributed to the target with Black Tendrils. The card does not specify only unblocked damage, which most cards that call unblocked damage do.

Arcane Weapon interacts somewhat unintuitively with being Attack damage. It benefits from Akabeko, but does not consume Akabeko when it is triggered. Similarly, Gather Power does not affect Arcane Weapon attacks. Gather Power does specifically indicate that "your next attack is played 2 additional times;" Gather Power does not seem to be "played," even though it is attack damage. This would explain it not consuming Akabeko, although distinguishing between "Attack damage" and "playing an Attack" is not overly intuitive, especially because the tooltip for Akabeko reads "Your first attack each combat deals 8 additional damage"--no mention of "playing" being an element.

I played this mod a few months ago and it worked without crashing. Thumbs up.

Yes, this mod is mighty complicated, but with effort and getting some good luck, I actually beat the game with the 2nd character (who is still in beta). Yes, I totally beat it with the first character too.

To be honest, this character is way too complex for a deckbuilding game. A lot of these mechanics could be split into two different slayers. It's honestly easier to build a consistent deck with the Prismatic Shard relic.

Firebolt ("apply burning equal to 2 times the number of clarities you have") does not apply the burning debuff. I got 3 clarities but it says and applys 0 burning instead of 6. or am i misunderstanding the card ?

Attack Damage doesn't trigger Thorns.
Also, if Arcane Weapon triggers a mode switch for the Guardian, he keeps the 20 Block.

Found an interesting interaction with Fear: If you can re-apply fear on the turn that the opponent would run away, you can stack it, they won't run away(until the clock runs), and the only action they'll take is the retreat action, even though they aren't actually running. This allows me to go an whack them until they're dead, making this a seemingly broken interaction(mitigated by the whole "snap" mechanic".

So, this character is so fun to play. I did notice though that the card "Tiny Hut" will give clarity for Kindness, rather than the current memory
