This mod is being REWORKED into a new mod called Vehicles that will include these boats as well as other vehicles covering land, air and see vehicles! It is currently in testing! be patient, it will be worth the wait

Ya'll can try that to get the vehicle mod. It allows you to disable the vehicles you don't want, so if you only want boats then you can disable everything else.

everytime i try to load into the game when i have the mod activated, it doesn't load so im stuck on the loading screen. summary, it doesn't work for me

Maybe they don't want to publicly release a BETA mod currently still a work in progress open to the public, only to get complaint after complaint when they push an update that breaks everyone's save games?

When the mod is fully released, there will be a public workshop page for it. While it would be nice to have a github link as well, but hiding it behind a discord-wall appears to be a pretty effective way to lessen the amount of "beta testers" that'll later complain of broken save games.

Since I got all the time in the world, I vote that every mod is moved to their own discord. we can just download the game from the webpage and manually update every mod when there is an update. If you really love Rimworld, and have the time to play it properly, you also have time to visit 400 different discord servers to update your mods. stop being lazy, stop having children, start being cool.

Not everybody uses Discord, and not everybody wants to join a "community". Just avoid/ignore the passive aggressive kids acting "tough" over the internet, not worth for a Rimworld mod.

People just love to request updates but nobdy ever wants to read the comments. It's not getting updated. The author doesn't come to these comments anymore, so all the requests and begging are pointless. He won't see them. He won't update here. He's told you where to look, so go there and look. As has been discussed in the comments, it takes 5 minutes of searching to find the link to the updated beta version of the vehicles mod.

I don't understand the people posting difficulties regarding the discord link... but I like it. I even saw one guy saying he went through 142 pages of comments for the link and I lmfao'd. I guess there is some sort of unwritten rule not to point out the glaringly obvious and I appreciate the content that brings.

I have the discord link in my clipboard right now and I could hit "paste" but I won't, in solidarity.

you wouldn't happen to have a current link to the discord would you? the ones i have found in the comments all pull up a link expired error. Also a simple solution would be to get a permanent link to the discord and putting it in the discussions tab as a new discussion to save people time looking for the needle in the haystack and save you the effort of trying to force them to when instead could just be a simple "check the discussions tab".

You get mad because he didn't say that this mod was being redeveloped, only, the first thing in the description is that this mod is being redeveloped as a vehicle mod.

Just checked the discord. Total waste of time. Why the hell you couldn't just tell us here that the vehicles mod is in development, beta testing is available for interested parties, and it will be ready when it's done is beyond me. You basically have a free webpage here that gets traffic from interested parties. USE IT! Not everyone is crazy about discord.

If you don't have the 5min to join a discord server and get the mod why do you want the mod in the first place? I mean if you don't even have 5min for such a simple task you most certainly have no time to play rimworld. xD

What ever. People wanted the mod, I told them how to find it. If that's to much work for them, or for you, then you must not really want the mod. I couldn't care less, I have the mod and in that end, that's all that matters to me.

You took the time to join a discord community for a pretty minor mod, which I am glad you have time for.
