idk why but whenever this mod is active Tharkas cascade XV turns into a hub system with like 9 gates in it that connect almost everywhere

This mod works but does not include the DLC areas. Read the comments before you spam the same questions over and over again.

it should work, but since the gates that can randomize are hardcoded, it won't affect the new Xenon areas that have been added in the expansions.

will this mod still work in 6.0 even though u have not updated it?
element303 Feb 18, 2023 @ 4:14pm
I downloaded it for the purpose of the gates not being near the split so they aren't attacked first but another faction. Maybe I misunderstood the description.

I never updated the mod for Split gates; it only affects the gates in the original game. Unfortunately due to the way the engine works it's time consuming to add new options and as the mod wasn't that popular I didn't take the time to expand it if you have the addons.

Doesn't seem to work. Started twice a new game and the gates are still at the same place in Split space. How can I test if it actually worked without having to explore for a day?

randomisation works
but each sectors has additional 10 disabled gates

I'm using this with dead air gate overhaul and it definitely does still result in randomization

I never got around to adding random options for any of the expansion gates but it should still work for the base game gates.

Sounds like a great idea. If it could be adjusted to CoH changes, it would be awesome for replayability.

Does it work with Expanded Sectors, by the way?

Does anyone know if this is working with 4.0 and CoH?

Thanks for this mod Mysterial. Would be a wonderful complement to have something similar to invoke a random Xenon invasion. Especially welcomed if it were game safe. I suspect it would be used alot by pilots who have pushed out the Xenon from the current map.
Mysterial  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 1:48pm
No. It requires the vanilla universe map.

Will this work with Deadair Gate Overhaul?

Know what I'd like to see?

A mod that periodically spawns jump accelerators leading to randomly generated Xenon sectors complete with shipyards and wharves and plenty of solar plants, so that the Xenon will gradually grow into an overwhelming force unless the player does something, but there IS something the player can do.

For example, there could be a way to destroy the jump accelerators, such as by flying 'fire ships' full of antimatter cells into them, at which point the sectors beyond them will be deleted (thus preventing the complete destruction of system performance as well as the X universe.) Of course, first the player would need to FIND the (randomly placed!) accelerators.

That's really damned clever
Mo¡stDreams Feb 23, 2020 @ 6:15pm
Noted, another case of Egosoft shoving the error level on something totally not game breaking.
Mysterial  [author] Feb 23, 2020 @ 8:57am
It's not a bug. There's a change I made in multiple of my mods but only one of them can actually take effect. The other will throw that warning but it doesn't mean anything.

It just randomizes the locations.
Min Dec 1, 2019 @ 9:24pm
does this add more xenon gates or just randomizes the locations?
Mysterial  [author] Nov 23, 2019 @ 11:32am
Yes should be fine.

Was this tested for 3.0?
