Mod is useless in the current update and modder is mia. Don't bother with downloading this unless you're willing to sift through the xmls yourself.

New game most likely would be a good thing as all stations started before this mod is enabled via the extensions menu will still be using vanilla build times.

Can we get a version that does not boost the AI as well? This game doesnt run fantastic on my current computer setup and the AI just goes crazy with building and slows the whole game down.

One of the mods that serves the game the most.

P.S. The developers probably think that we gamers don't have a life, a job and that we only play X4 24h/24h.
It's silly for me to spend so much time building just one module. If you want to build a station with 400 or 500 modules, it takes days to build. Unheard of.
I understand the simulation but they should put an option for those who want to reduce the build time.

The security modules totally tanked my build time. Not sure about the rest, however. I build too many defense modules. =P

@Decker, are you meaning the Station modules? Or like shields and things of that nature? Because this mod only handles the station modules.

Hi there,
i'm a bit confused about the mod working or not ...

In example:
- the vanilla (X4F 3.30 HF1) wares.xml says 103 seconds for the argon-con_base_01
- a new started game shows me exactly 120 seconds buildtime
- your modfile shows a value of 10 seconds but another new started game with yout mod tells me 60 seconds for that module.

Any ideas?

Argon microchips factory still takes full time to build, I think. 22m, while other buildings are rarely over 2m.

OMG! So it does not reduce time of already building modules. But most important, if you copy old station modules, it copy the old building time too. So you need to be sure, that you added new modules from build menu.
