Most mods are upgraded to the new workshop system already.
I will upgrade all remaining mods too, but had much less free time for this lately than I expected.
But in case you keep the mods subscription, it will be activated in your ingame mod manager as soon as it got upgraded. :)

no support for Ver 4.0 + ?
Ozhara  [author] Nov 14, 2013 @ 12:49am
I took a short look at rms syntax and did some tests, but it's similar with me, my free time is limited, so 'really' learning rms/ai scripting would take too much time from doing my graphical mods. Even my soundtrack mods suffer from that and they're really 'easy' to do...
And now that I want to release the first beta of ma mod manager in the near future - it's even less time... :)
CPOKashue Nov 14, 2013 @ 12:37am
Yeah, the AI can't collect the ambient troops, nor does it know to march its lord to recruiting tiles to buy units. I guess I could write an AI to do all that, but I have like zero interest in learning AI scripting. RMS syntax was quite enough for me ;)

I played it in sp with ai opponents, so I suppose it as much easier than intended. :)

But it was really fun to play!
And I love the landscape! :D
I'm using it for several versions of my terrain packs now, it's great to show terrain differences between them without 'boring' rms-landscape...

Thanks! Your mods are great.
Ozhara  [author] Nov 7, 2013 @ 10:53am
Go to your steam library and right click AoE.
Click on 'properties' and in the opening dialog go to the tab 'local files'.
There is a button named 'browse local files'.
That one opens your game directory in the windows explorer. There you can find your 'mods' folder.
Kotter Nov 7, 2013 @ 10:46am
Where can I find my game/mods folder? Thanks!
Ozhara  [author] Nov 1, 2013 @ 4:17pm
Not quite sure what you mean, when I painted some in the editor they behaved exactly like the vanilla ones... what indeed isn't what you you would expect every time...

But I'll hav a look at that. Thanks for mentioning!

Not sure if this has been mentioned here, but for some reason the cliffs appear glitched. They will appear in different areas of the map when painted facing back.

Thanks for your reply Ozhara, your terrain mod isexcellent! I hope you do join with Jorgito( the reskin modder) to aid in creating a better reskin, animation for other units.
Ozhara  [author] Nov 1, 2013 @ 8:18am
So you can highly customize it.^^

And if there is something you would like to use but is not available - just tell me and I'll have a look at it. :)
Ozhara  [author] Nov 1, 2013 @ 8:17am
In my grand release all additional mods I did in the meanwhile are addd, so with that one you have 'all'.

But there are some alternatives available. I released different goldmines, some crystal mines, iron mines replacing the stone, another bridge, crystal woods, green water, ...

You can find them in my collections mostly.
Timmy The Great Nov 1, 2013 @ 7:51am
So is this the complete pack? any more from your mod i can add in?
Ozhara  [author] Nov 1, 2013 @ 7:49am
No, this is just an alternativ with just the terrains, for those that don't like to use my other changes
Timmy The Great Nov 1, 2013 @ 7:42am
Hi Installed the grand texture packv5, do i need to install this as well?
THC | koala Nov 1, 2013 @ 7:08am
thanks alot :)
Ozhara  [author] Nov 1, 2013 @ 5:49am
It's a function of steam that resets all changed game files (only changed ones that steam installed, no additional files are touched (like scenarios) - additional files can only be removed manually) to default.

This is the way you can uninstall mods, unsubscribing just tells steam not to take them into account any further when applying mods to your game (which is done at game start after installing/verifying your game cache).

You can verify your game cache by right-clicking on AoE in your steam library.
Choose 'properties' and in the opening dialog the tab 'local files'. There is a button to verify your game cache.
THC | koala Nov 1, 2013 @ 4:51am
what does it mean verify your game cache?
Ozhara  [author] Oct 30, 2013 @ 5:56pm
To uninstall this mod, do this:

1. Unsubscribe
2. Delete the mods archive file from your game\mods folder
3. Verify your game cache

What if we want to revert to vanilla textures for a custom scenario? How do I do that?
Ozhara  [author] Oct 30, 2013 @ 2:55pm
just click the subscribe button, wait for steam to download the mods archive file and start AoE to extract it.
sir_edward3 Oct 30, 2013 @ 2:46pm
how do i download this?
Ozhara  [author] Oct 30, 2013 @ 3:35am
