Throwing my hat on the pile to say that none of this mods actual workbenches are appearing in the architect tab, both normally with the research completed or with dev mode on. The linkables still appear properly, though. I'm not actually getting any errors, everything just seems to have quietly disappeared? I'd also like to note that Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Production doesn't have a selectable option on the Bug Reporting forum, so forgive my otherwise unconventional report here.

What would be the reason I could see the larger versions of the bench's on the research page, but I cannot build them after finishing the research?

@Joe The Assembly Bench is a 1x3 version of the Fabrication Bench. Since this mod adds 2x5 versions of the 1x3 sized tables, it adds a 1x3 Fab Bench to even it out.

Hey, do you still provide support for this mod? I can't tell if anything's been done regarding some of the electric tables; mainly the electric butcher table.

What's the point of Assembly Bench? Fabrication Bench already allows for components production. Why the redundancy?

I think that there's an art error on the electric stonecutter, the pile of blocks at the side is taking the colour of the stuff the bench is made from. I'm pretty sure that ought to be masked to not do that.

Anyone know of a patch for dubs bad hygiene to not have duplicate kitchen sinks?

Has anyone else had an issue where the Tailor Cabinet disappears once it is finished being built? Never seen this before. Only happens with the Tailor Cabinet.

I'm unsure if this is by design or if it's because of all the mods I use. But I'm unable to toggle off the refueling of the Fueled Smelter. Thus it burns throw my wood early game even though It's not always in use.

Is there a way to toggle that off without having to uninstall the smelter?

You can technically turn wood into charcoal and charcoal burns at ~1260C degrees.

Wood burns at around 500 Celsius give or take, depending on what kind of wood. That's not nearly enough to even melt Aluminum, which melts at around 600 Celsius. Other metals require even more temperature.
So perhaps change the fuel type for the new smelter from wood to chemfuel?

@chromedbustop There is a mod called artisans or something that actually incentivizes you to build individual rooms for benches by granting various bonuses for impressive workshops, which works well on its own but can also make the manufacturing benches in this mod more useful

Minor mistake: The `_east` graphics for several linkables are backwards, facing west, causing both eastern and western orientations to be mirrored from what would be expected. The Fabrication, Machining, Smithing, and Tailoring cabinets have this issue.

I think it's intended that the player build dedicated production rooms that make use of the production boosting additions to speed up the benches, the new more powerful buildings are rather large 2x5 so you will have a harder time cramming them into one production room. Personally I think the production bonuses are too small too warrant the increased sizes but that's just my opinion. I personally prefer more compact rooms to prevent large travel and hauling times.

In the description of the mod it's mentioned that the intent is to allow for the option of separate crafting rooms rather than just having everything in one large room.
Does anyone use the benches in this way. It still seems to make more sense to fit most things into one room, but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on more creative means to use the mod.

hey, a question if I may ask, in regard to modding: how would i go about making a modded structure inherit from the vanilla stove? asking mainly because of the "geysier cooking" mod as wood is scarce, but I cannot cook vanilla cooking expanded recipes in it

I know I'm going to be stabbed for not providing logs, but for some reason with this mod enabled, a lot of modded buildings, and every vanilla one, have completely invisible blueprints, no errors or anything, I can't provide a log because of a parse response error, I assume it's a mod conflict but I don't know honestly.

Do you have any plans to make Assembly Bench (the one that only makes components) get sped up using all of the linkables? The whole appeal for the bench is that it's smaller and does one thing, but it's pretty much (from my experience) never built because it's never worth it due to Fabrication Bench just pumping them out sooo much faster with all the linkables.

A more era appropriate texture for the fueled smelter would also be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't fit in with the pre-industrial look.

Ohhhh wait, I remember this error, it has been around since 1.3


Basically, DBH has an option to disable all piping, and it removes the related defs (like Plumbing Research) from the game when its enabled.

So the VE:Production DBH patch needs to check for the existence of these defs before adding them.

I cannot see the component assembly table anywhere. I checked the research tab and have smithing researched, but I cannot find it anywhere.
