@Bobibobibu thank you for reporting this. I have been pulling my hair out looking for this bug for awhile now in my game and I couldn't find it. I did more digging today and your comment helped me pinpoint this bug. For some reason this mod was modifying my equipment to have 100% material effect multiplier, so for example a devilstrand shirt would have the same amount of armor as a flak vest. It might be improperly stored data from combat extended maybe, since I used to play it a lot but I don't anymore.

is there a way to specify a faction when assigning a title? I have various modded faction that allows for titles and permits, but when I create the caracter I can only assign the title to the fallen empire. Am I missing something?

Solved after deleting \LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\CharacterEditor\options.txt

Still no idea what changed that. Maybe a Combat Extended thing?

Problem persist after reinstall the mod. Tested with 1.6 all DLCs with only Harmony and Character Editor.

The mod change the material effect multiplier of some vanilla clothing for some reason (e.g. Duster having 500% material effect multiplier). How?

So when running a lot of mods that add additional deeds like Vanilla Expanded, the Memories section in the Needs Tab gets shrunk smaller and smaller until its rendered completely unusable. Is there any way this could be fixed?

Feature request if possible: In the Xenotype Editor (Create Xenotype Menu - The one that appears when you click on the xenotype from the stats menu) would it be possible to add a vertical scroll bar or a scroll function into the selected genes drop down on top? Reason being after so many genes are collected, you can't scroll down through the list.. and instead of being able to directly find the genes in the selected tab that you're looking for, you have to look through the entire index for them

I'm aware that the selected genes drop down can hold a LOT of genes, but when you play with gene mods and stuff, some of which can steal genes and such.. You get to needing more space to view them all.

Also devmode has support for titles related to different factions, so it's a quick fix for anyone else needing one for their run. Since the framework is already there a patch should be a simple as adding a bit more to the UI and linking it to that dev action.

Hey just letting you know DMS adds a rank system like royalty, but when you assign the ranks in character editor they're to the wrong faction, always defaulting to the empire

Whenever I try to make a pawn have two parents of the same gender it always forces one of the parents just "kin"

I reported the red error yesterday. Played for several hours and had no problem. Did get ANOTHER red error, something about colonist's preferred color, when I opened the editor the first time. Nothing broken afaik.

Yes, with 1.6, you can't just have custom Defs lying around anymore, the failure is no longer silent. We're going to see a lot of this from mods that use other mods' custom Defs but don't gate them behind loadFolders, etc.

With the fixed shader option, most pawns' skin shaders are loaded correctly. However, Yttakins' head shader still looks off (there's a reddish tint). No other mods loaded but this one and Harmony. Visual bug persists in v1.5 and v1.6

I just tried again with the original pawns I created and it worked like a charm. Parent and sibling relationships are perfect. It seems to work best if you tag the parents from the children, rather than the other way around. I considered deleting my posts, but maybe this will be helpful to someone?

Hmm, I just tried another group of pawns and family relationships it worked fine. Not sure if it was the way I did it last time, but seems it should still work. I'm going to try again with the pawns that I spent a lot of time creating, removing all family relationships and adding them again.

Hello! This is a great mod. I'm currently trying to create a game that includes a mother, father, and their 4 children. I have done this in past playthroughs without issue. In my current game attempt, for some reason only two children are seen as natural children to each parent, while the other two are tagged as step-children. If I look at each of the 4 children, they their parents each show as being their birth parents. No sibling relationships are being recognized. I have a save game from a year ago where I was able to use this mod to make the family relationships work properly, but I'm uncertain why siblings aren't being recognized and some birth parents are seen as step parents. Anyone else seen this issue, and/or have any suggestions?

@wgasa, @Aristarchus of Samos the gradient hair samples within the editor require the Gradient Hair mod to be active. If its not, they can't be changed and the message about gradients can indeed be ignored.

FYI, without the Gradient Hair mod, on startup I get the error "Type GradientHairMaskDef is not a Def type or could not be found", with the other mod it's fine. Not sure if there are any problems otherwise, but thanks for updating so quick!
