Just a heads up, there is a mod conflict with Vanilla Aspirations Expanded that changes pawn aspirations after being resurrected. Very niche issue, but wanted to let people here know.

Vanilla Races Expanded - Android is not working correctly. Saved android is recreated when trying to load. Android gene set is not loading. Is there any compatibility patch or separate mod for editing androids?

Hey all, me here, so turns out that my system wasn't booting Rimworld correctly. Turns out i had to set it to launch with something called "Rosetta"

All is good here with the mod, pretty epic :D although xenotype preview doesn't work with the built in xenotype editor so just letting you know

where is the directory to delete files? would i need to delete the characters i made in the CE folder or is it something else?
either is a conflict or something did go wrong with the update.
try if deleting the files of the mod on your drive and making a clean redownload helps.

@Zork Badfellow when the terrain fails to generate, it goes back to the title screen, not saving ideologies or characters. How is that my fault it didnt generate?

You know... I run 400+ mods... I've never had a single issue with this mod ever. I sometimes had to fumble through HOW to use it. But it has always worked as intended. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thanks for the mod work, VOID. :megamanshoot::steamthumbsup:

I'm incredibly curious as to why this mod seems to affect world generation. I went through my 130+ modlist one by one trying to figure out why I kept getting hardlocked on the world gen screen. I thought it would've been something that made sense, like a faction or biome addition, but to my surprise it's THIS mod.

There seems to be a incompatibility between this mod and dubs bad hygiene that causes regular cataphract helmets to not give vacuum resistance when both mods are enabled.

fix your mod i spent 3 hours designing an ideology and characters just for them to get deleted because this mod affects terrain generation somehow

Can you add the ability to add negative stat offsets, I am unable to add move speed penalties to armour.

I THINK that you can add Thoughts in their Social tab.
And you can also edit their various relations (brother, sister, parents, cousin, spouse etc).

Trying to edit the bodysize genes is a nightmare. The instructions of the FAQ are telling me to click on extended view button '>>', but that button doesn't exist, and merely adding/replacing the current gene with a new size gene just resets my pawn to default size no matter what size gene I select.

@VOID Hello there is certain bug(??) in there that was bothering me for some time. I often start new colonies with preprepeared crew of pawns that I have saved and even though I try to lower all of their stats to zero they still have upon mouseover something like 14000/1000 exp so the moment they start doing work of this category they instantly jump several levels. Could you maybe add a button to clear up stored exp on pawn? Or maybe its already there somewhere and I simply cannot find it

캐릭터 에디트 ui 로 캐릭터를 변경한후 창을닫으면 캐릭터가 변경전으로 돌아가 있습니다.
에디트에선 변경된 모습이지만 창을 닫으면 그대로에요 왜그럴까요?

This mod is not working properly with Odyssey's unique weapons. Nothing is loading up, and you cannot edit it like you can edit anything else in Character Editor.

This mod is currently in a pretty rough state for 1.6. Lots of bugs being reported, and I can personally confirm that the new Odyssey armor trait "Vacuum Resistance" which lets your characters survive in the vacuum of space, is being broken for several power armors like Cataphract Armor. It's wreaking havoc on my Gravship run.

Right now, the best thing you can do to work around the bugs is to just toggle this mod on when you need it, and then deactivate it when it's actually time to play the game. Luckily this mod isn't something that needs to be active all the time, so use it when you need it and then turn it off until you need it again.

You shouldn't use the def editor to edit mod defs anyway
Its been the cause of many issues
Theres better ways to do that and more maintained ways

Posted in bug thread but since that's not official I will post it here too. Cannot edit unique ranged weapon properties, the stat window won't open or is empty, and it generates a bunch of errors. Tested with this mod, harmony, and hugslib.

Ok, so a few days ago I left a message saying that charge rifles don't work with this mod. After removing some other mods I found out it was vanilla expanded weapons; Something wasn't working right. Looking into the weapon itself, it showed that there was no projectile type. I'm not using CE. After I changed the projectile type to charge shot... it worked and didn't. I was able to shoot the gun again... but only manually. After removing Vanilla expanded it seems to work fine now. Will check back later if problems persist.

Not sure what is causing it but when I have this in my mod list I can't make a new world, if I make a world then add it mid save it Works but it seems to cause crashes? I have no clue what's doing it

I just want to say, I had this brilliant idea to play a round of rimworld with two different settlements on one map, and couldnt find a way to make two pawns have two different customized ideos, but thanks to this mod, I could, so.... THANK YOU. :D Literally the only thing i needed but it orked perfectly!

Edit: I fully unsubscribed, launched the game and saved, then resubscribed and relaunched and that made it show back up!

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but, why isn't the character editor option showing up for me? It doesn't show up in the crashlanding screen or in game.

On the mod compatibility, while it's more of a soft incompatibility in that it works through using other editors like Pawn Editor, as a workaround... Mods that add extra skills, like the one that adds Logic, Memory, and Focus, are mostly unaccessible on the window. No way to scroll or resize the window itself, so the skills get pushed and flooded down more into the psycast area. Likewise when this happens, the + and - buttons don't quite correspond to the correct skill.

Obviously I know this is more made with standard additions in mind, at most, but still figured I'd mention it. Especially if it might allow for an update that could help the issue.

The index values depend on the pawn. The size of the die and the active gender depend on the race. WARNING-
racial changes only last for one game session!

This character editor has been the bedrock of many of my playthroughs for years, and for that I cannot thank you enough! I have very recently come across a curious problem, though: If enough different character settings are in play (due to mods adding eye colors or the like) that they don't fit into the standard editor window anymore... then there is simply no scrollbar that would allow accessing anything beyond the range of the default UI. I am currently unable to edit the 'Torso' section of any character for this reason. Would this be trivial for you to fix, or is the issue more complicated under the hood than it looks?
