If you have a friend who has experience in making sound mods for ETS2 1.38 (FMOD). Please ask him/her to help convert this mod to 1.38 (FMOD). I am willing to completely handover this mod to him/her if required and/or pay money to the person if required.
This mod is not compatible with the FMOD system SCS implemented since patch 1.37. I don't have the knowledge (and probably the authority too) to convert. Waiting for someone to pick it up to convert.
I don't know how to work with FMOD 1.37. So I will wait for Argarwen to do it. If he will do it.
..one more reason to leave the 1.37. The sound of the truck is horrible there.
If I remember/understand it correctly, I have applied the fix both to ATS and ETS. But if you encounter the same issue, please let me know.
Also, I mentioned on the ATS version of this mod about the muffling affecting other engines, is the coding changed on these to, as I kow you fixed it for the ATS engines ?
Finally Nissan is the first Japanese truck manufacturer to order my engines for their truck Nissan Big Thumb 2008 (truck mod by Sheibishi). For those of you who drive in Project Japan Map. Let Momo's Engines power your Nissan Big Thumb !!! And show the Japanese lorry drivers who is the Shogun now !!! Use Momo's Engines, and you'll never be seen a noob !!!
- Fixed MM19's turbo sound being too high pitch (reported by Matriisi).
- Replaced MM18's retarder sound with MM19's.
1. Regarding the very high-patched turbo sound, i will discuss this with Argarwen because it's part of his improvement to this mod. I did not realize the issue because I am not playing with a headset. I am playing with speakers. In the mean time, you can try any MM18 engine, because MM18 almost has no turbo sound. MM18 and MM19 have totally different sound.
2. Regarding the sound loss issue. It is expected as I warned above. I recommend you to restart the game a few times without this mod. The worst case is you have to sell the affected truck.
- Sound improved by Argarwen
- Added the engines to Volvo 2009
What did you do before it happened?
