In a medieval setting, simply installing "Nopower Comms Simplified" and studying it is still not sufficient to make payments in silver. However, it is only after studying microelectronics basics that one can make silver payments normally????????? It appears that this mod has a prerequisite of researching microelectronics basics in order to function properly, which is quite unfriendly for players in a non-space age era.

As the last comment mentions, the USFM doesn't appear as a faction in the generation link nor does it appear on the world.

I don't see the faction in the faction list and I can't find their faction base.

in my medieval run i fixed the no silver bug by finishing the transport pod research. just ctrl + left mouse with dev and god mod on

somehow the insect faction hired 40 "mercenary" giga-locusts and dropped them directly onto the top of my compound and wiped me out. Great mod !

@Hawler If I were you, I'd post a comment about that last thing (0 skills in everything but doctoring) in the [Bug Reports] discussion topic. That sure sounds like a bug to me. And I'd think leaving a comment in [Bug Reports] is a more reliable way of making sure the issue gets attention. Though, as mentioned in the [Bug Reports] OP, there are "Rules to report bugs", such as generating and sharing your log.

damn merc just arrived, was a doctor commander class, paid a shitload of cash. he got 0 skills in everything except doctoring, which is comletely disabled with no explanation as to why.. what am i doing wrong D:

When buying and renting mercs, do you think you could make them separate tabs? and when buying mercs allow us to buy them with multiple skills/passions instead of one skill? Cheers, love your mod

If the comms console says you don't have enough silver try researching transport pods.
