Sorry, I just saw this - legendary chests should work again now (and hopefully shouldn't break again, since it looks like my code there is no longer necessary)
AndreGabe Dec 28, 2024 @ 11:21am
This mod still works, but it's leaving the legendary chests empty.
army680 Dec 29, 2023 @ 2:18pm
does this mod still work
DarkDaemon May 17, 2023 @ 3:20pm
it says increase attributes by 1 per lvl, doesnt work im playing single player w the mod it increases the first lvls attribute by 1 but after that its only 1 per level.
altef  [author] Nov 10, 2022 @ 3:30pm
I've reverted feats (knowledge) to the previous progression.
Armigus Nov 10, 2022 @ 6:37am
Sorcery only set the attribute points to 1 per level, not the feats, now called knowledge. The knowledge points should retain their pre-sorcery scaling.
altef  [author] Nov 9, 2022 @ 11:50am
I've adjusted the mod to provide only one feat and attribute point per level, past sixty.
And I noticed that when using the admin panel to move up and down levels your attribute points only ever increase, so be aware of that. As far as I can tell it is a behaviour of the base game, since it happens even before you hit level 60.
FriskyFritz Nov 9, 2022 @ 3:55am
I would say so, because after maxing out all of our attributes, we end up having hundreds of attribute points just sitting there, that have no use since we can't do anything with them
altef  [author] Nov 8, 2022 @ 4:47pm
Just to be clear, you guys want each level to only grant 1 attribute point and 1 feat point?
Armigus Nov 7, 2022 @ 9:41am
Prior to Sorcery the attribute point system was sound. From levels 56-60 you got 12 points and the mod extended that naturally. Now that Sorcery made each level give, and need, only 1 attribute point the mod needs to adjust for that.
FriskyFritz Nov 5, 2022 @ 7:44am
After level 60 instead of getting one point to put into an attribute such as strength,vitality, etc. You get 13 now. I am 70+ and have 182 points just vibing there that I can't do anything with. Was this intended or is this a mistake that happened?
altef  [author] Nov 3, 2022 @ 11:44am
The number of points should go up at the same rate as before level 60. Feats stay at 13 until level 70 (where they briefly go up to 45, before dropping back down to 14 until level 80). Attributes should hit 14 at level 65, and then go up again at level 70.

I was pretty careful with this mod to extrapolate the rates of progression in the base game (including the required XP between levels). That said, I haven't actually played since well before Sorcery came out - did it change those rates?
Armigus Nov 1, 2022 @ 5:15pm
Did you intend for every level above 60 to grant 13 points each? Might be an oversight from pre-sorcery.

The XP needed for each level jumps massively after lv 60. Could this be smoothed out? I would not mind if the XP growth per level were scaled so that it approached 1M XP by level 60. I use thrall mods to keep packs of pets and scale XP quickly anyway.
altef  [author] Sep 8, 2022 @ 1:40pm
Hmm I couldn't find where the quick loot overlay is triggered. If you guys prefer, I can remove where I overwrite the legendary chest level condition, making this purely an additional levels mod.
(I think I remember someone saying once that there were other mods that dealt with the legendary chest portion/)
altef  [author] Sep 8, 2022 @ 12:42pm
@DarkEmy - I've recompiled it and it looks like it works as expected now, but let me know if you're still having issues.

@private - Sorry, I missed your message. I've verified that it happens to me as well, but I don't immediately see why. I'll have a look further and if I can find the reason I'll update the mod with a fix. Thanks for reporting that!
DarkEmy Sep 7, 2022 @ 8:28pm
3.0 seems to have broken the legendary chests again, crashing game or server when they're opened/interacted with.
private Mar 19, 2022 @ 6:16pm
Seems like there is a small problem with legendary chests when this mod is enabled. You can loot them using quickloot (F) without a key and they simply disappear, but weapon appears in inventory. It's not gamebreaking but can lead to exploiting and getting loot for free.

I personally like your mod because it's minimalistic, so it would be great if you could fix this issue.
altef  [author] Aug 19, 2021 @ 2:40pm
I haven't played in a while, but If it doesn't work let me know and I will take a look!
wolfknight Aug 19, 2021 @ 1:05pm
Dose this work with the new update that just droped?
Soft-Hands Apr 25, 2021 @ 11:07am
It appears to work so far. I leveled a test character up to level 75 and seemed in order, not sure about all the way up to 250, but if I get that far and it doesn't I'll let you know. Thanks for the reply. :steamhappy:
altef  [author] Apr 25, 2021 @ 10:09am
@TheElderBrain I haven't played Conan in a bit, but if it doesn't work let me know and I can fix it!
Soft-Hands Apr 24, 2021 @ 8:15pm
Does this still function after the 2.4 Patch?
altef  [author] Oct 29, 2020 @ 2:38pm
@rwatt5931 health and stamina?
rwatt5931 Oct 29, 2020 @ 1:51pm
This mod is working but the health and stamina doesn't show up. It only show up when you click on the menu for your character.
altef  [author] Oct 27, 2020 @ 3:42pm
@davidwallace2007 the additions should start at level 61 but here's an example of what's in this mod - the LevelStart and LevelEnd mark the XP bounds for each level (the row name)

{
"LevelEnd": 20096771,
"LevelStart": 19132275,
"RowName": "61"
},
{
"LevelEnd": 21093152,
"LevelStart": 20096771,
"RowName": "62"
},
{
"LevelEnd": 22121933,
"LevelStart": 21093152,
"RowName": "63"
},
Armigus Oct 27, 2020 @ 12:43pm
Some XP numbers, both close to vanilla and what I'm seeing currently. Not sure if other mods are influencing this.

X0 = XP needed for first level (275 vanilla, 165 currently).
Xn = XP needed to reach level n from previous level

Xn = X0*n^a

For vanilla a~1.96

At lv 60 I'm seing about 350K or so to next level so a~1.87
After that it jumps radically to nearly 900K and scales from that.

Is this normal for your mod or should I be looking at influence from other mods and maybe shifting this mod to the bottom for priority?
Kemur Duh Lemur Oct 11, 2020 @ 9:45pm
Could we get a settings menu in mod control panel or something to adjust the max level? I'd like it to be a little lower but no other mod has a good attribute/feat system like this one.EIther way, thanks for the good level mod
rocker18 Sep 21, 2020 @ 4:51am
Can I make a balanced version of the 300 level mod,There are more feat points available,But 1000 attribute points are OK
altef  [author] Sep 20, 2020 @ 2:14pm
@Misfit_Panda thanks! :D
I had a look and it appears that (following the same rate of increase) the integers overflow for XP at around level 292 (or at least that's what it's showing in Unreal's data table editor).
Misfit_Panda Sep 20, 2020 @ 12:53pm
I have folks who want the EEWA mod in, and I guess I would need up to level 300 to be able to fight the varying mobs/bosses etc.

Any chance it would be an easy thing for you to adapt the mod up to 300?
Or making a second mod that goes up to 300?

If not, it is cool, I am just glad I found this mod, as I said, it seems to be exactly what I need.
And as with any mod author, thank you for putting in your time for our benefit. Much appreciated.
altef  [author] Sep 20, 2020 @ 10:43am
@rocker18:
Total feat points between 250 and 60: 5643
Total attribute points between 250 and 60: 5985

@Misfit_Panda
Yup the rates at which levels, attributes, and feat points go up should follow the same rate growth as they do prior to level 60. As far as I know it works for the new expansion, but I haven't checked it (I don't have the new expansion yet). If it doesn't work, let me know!

Thanks!
Misfit_Panda Sep 20, 2020 @ 8:22am
so from what I read a few posts ago, you have more or less just made this mod enable leveling higher than 60 at all the same rates and stuff?

I know a LOT of people out there really like their higher rate servers and stuff, but I am not trying to have a server making it to easy.

So far, this mod sounds the most promising for my server needs.
Does it need an update for the new expansion? Or do we know if it is still working correctly?
I see one person saying it appears to be working correctly but that is it.

thanks in advance
rocker18 Sep 20, 2020 @ 1:54am
Excuse me, how many attributes and expertise points are provided at level 250?
altef  [author] Sep 18, 2020 @ 9:37pm
Awesome! Thanks for checking :D
Spitfire Sep 17, 2020 @ 7:58pm
Seems to work so far with the new update. Haven't ran into the legendary chests yet though.
altef  [author] Sep 15, 2020 @ 11:01am
I'm not actually sure - I don't know much about it (if the level cap is the same, or if they've changed how legendary chests work in it). But if it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to remedy!
GOATMAN Sep 15, 2020 @ 10:54am
Will this work with the new update?
altef  [author] Jul 7, 2020 @ 9:52pm
@Avalir, I calculated a function to match the vanilla level XPs steps and used that to extrapolate for levels above 60. So the progression should feel similar.

The equation worked out to something like `y ≈ ⌊86.4023x3 - 129.8326x2 + 61.0945x - 27.7356⌉`, which probably isn't super helpful.

Here is a sample of the the amounts for levels 61, 62, and 63:

{
"LevelEnd": 20096771,
"LevelStart": 19132275,
"RowName": "61"
},
{
"LevelEnd": 21093152,
"LevelStart": 20096771,
"RowName": "62"
},
{
"LevelEnd": 22121933,
"LevelStart": 21093152,
"RowName": "63"
},

Versus the vanilla values for levels 58, 59, and 60:

{
"RowName": "58",
"LevelStart": 16424900,
"LevelEnd": 17296850
},
{
"RowName": "59",
"LevelStart": 17296850,
"LevelEnd": 18199150
},
{
"RowName": "60",
"LevelStart": 18199150,
"LevelEnd": 19132275
}

Avalir Jul 7, 2020 @ 3:47am
Can anyone tell me what the xp gap is like for this mod? Like is it going to take me 10 straight hours of combat or crafting just to level up?
altef  [author] May 6, 2020 @ 9:39am
I think it's 1817388965. (right-clicked in steam and selected Copy Page URL. That was the ID parameter there)
Kaybee May 6, 2020 @ 2:09am
Ok, am i missing something? Where is the mod ID number here?
Moonravin Jan 18, 2020 @ 7:11pm
Ya we had it on the bottom. once moved to third it worked just fine. :)
altef  [author] Jan 18, 2020 @ 11:49am
It doesn't require a server wipe, but if I recall correctly your client mod list has to match the server mod list exactly (including the order of it)
Moonravin Jan 15, 2020 @ 7:25pm
Does this require a server wipe? with it in my load order i cant load into my server as it ways that my load order doesnt match the servers list. but without it on my list i can load into my serverl.
altef  [author] Jan 5, 2020 @ 11:53am
@Rathkantor - I think it should be this:
Total feat points between 250 and 60: 5643
Total attribute points between 250 and 60: 5985
Rathkantor Jan 5, 2020 @ 5:09am
I am looking for a level mod that doesn't make your char too OP.
How many Attribute Points and Feats will you have when you reached lvl 250? In total or what you earned after lvl 60, thanks in advance!
altef  [author] Dec 6, 2019 @ 11:43am
Hey Suriel, sorry about that and thanks for letting me know! I don't play much anymore and so missed yesterday's update. It should work again now. (I was able to open a Legendary chest)
Suriel Dec 5, 2019 @ 9:59pm
Hey there Altef, I just wanted to let you know that with the new patch there is a problem. I love your mod and would like to keep useing it but the issue is around Legendary chest. It seems when you try to open a Legendary chest with a key your game crashes. I removed your mod and was able to open the chest.
altef  [author] Nov 26, 2019 @ 2:04pm
Should be fixed! Thanks for letting me know.
altef  [author] Nov 25, 2019 @ 8:33pm
Ah, apparently (according to that mod's change notes) there was an update 5 days ago that breaks it. Thanks for the info! I'll look into it further.
