By 1957, the USA had up to 20 different types of landing containers and platforms, including five types of platforms with a carrying capacity of 3.2 tons, two types - up to 2.7 tons, five types - from 5.4 to 11 tons.
- A lot of new aircraft modules.
- USA and GER historical (and 'what if') aircraft templates.
- Antipodal Bomber Special Project.
- Spy Satellite Special Project.
- Antipodal Bomber Nuclear Strike Raid.
- Antipodal Bomber Recon Mission Raid.
- Spy Satellite Recon Mission Raid.
- Bug fixes.
- Multiple new icons.
I tested this with only Extended Tech Tree 1960 enabled (no other mods active), and the crash still occurs.
Steps to Reproduce:
Start a new game with Extended Tech Tree 1960 enabled.
Progress until air-to-air missile technologies are available.
Attempt to research air_air_missile_2 (or higher).
The game crashes instantly
As for the 1960 slot, you could use:
- the L1A1 SLR
- a hypothetical upgrade to the EM-2
- the L64 (later developed into the SA80. a bit of a stretch though, considering it started development in 1972)
