Description
Welcome to the Extented Tech Tree 1960 mod


This is a role-play focused mod. I aim to extend the tech tree to the 1960's keeping the game as faithful to Paradox’s original vision as possible while adding new technologies. Needless to say this isn't finished, but everything included should be fully functional. If it isn't, it's an error or bug that I'll fix ASAP.

The idea is to extend the techtree vertically, extending the time period you can play without messing too much with the game and the system. The momment you start adding too much new stuff, balancing becomes an issue and modding a chore, rather than hobby.

This mod most likely incompatible with other mods. I edited A LOT of files to reach this stage.



This mod currently includes:

  • Extended air, armor, naval, infantry, artillery, radar, computing, ballistic missile, nuclear, support companies and industry tech trees. Localisation and models for the major countries included.
  • Added helicopter tree.
  • Added SAM, Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground and Anti-ship missiles.
  • Added naval missiles techs.
  • Added onboard radar techs.
  • Added jet age air doctrines.
  • Added post-war land doctrines.
  • Added post-war naval doctrines.
  • Added some post-war 3D models.

Because you're using an incompatible mod on top of this one or you lack a required DLC. Notice that I don't waste my time responding to absurd questions about obvious issues in the mod, because the fault is on you for using incompatible mods or not having the DLC listed as required. If you do actually find some small issue or oversight, I'll probably take the time to respond and fix it.

It would be cool to be able to create a more unique ship like the Anti-Submarine Cruisers. Soviet Cruiser Project 1123: it had light universal guns like a light cruiser, torpedo launchers, a bunch of missiles and could carry 14 - 18 anti-submarine helicopters. It was designed just in 1960. And it looks simply luxurious.

French Joan of Arc type: had essentially the same role as an anti-submarine ship, although it could transport troops. Could carry 12-14 anti-submarine helicopters. Designed in the late 1950s

but I found an error

The button is green and can be selected, but when I click on it to research, nothing happens

That also means that 3-4 other things don't work, e.g. German doctrine of the navy. In the end, a path doesn't end because there are no helicopters... just an example: D

I use to play this mod with mods that buff prouction, manpower , shipbuilding , research and one that develop resources, and worked but wheh i bought the game i just stoppe , i want to know why this happend
