yeah sorry for the comment bombardment though. i really appreciate your mod and wanted to get the ultimate experience lol. i did my own research in my comments and it looks like other people had a similar issue and you were planning on updating your mod with the new voicepack but yeah i presume you're probably busy and all. if you still plan on doing it i wish you the best and take your time, there's no rush.

Yeah i meant like deleting the lines in the .ini files for configuration, not even that worked. i try to switch his voice (in-game) to the better one but it keeps switching back to the default one

Not sure what you mean by "deleting all the lines". What I was talking about in the previous comment is that you should be able to use in-game soldier customization menu to change Duke's voice.

yeah i tried to delete all the lines like you said in the description but the game just does not switch his voice to the better one... shame, it is less douch-y and more consistent. i would really like to use that instead

Yeah, thing is, Duke's voice switches back to the default one you required for this mod to work when i try to switch it, so, idk

You can change Duke's voice after you get him, same as for any other soldier. It should work fine, the mod ships its own voice lines when needed.

Worth mentioning that "Invisible Body Parts For All" looks to safely take the place of "Invisible Parts for Hero Units" and "Invisible Heads". Max added a unique hidden head just for Duke as well :)

Hi Iridar, firstly top quality mod you have produced here. XCOM feels bare without the King now. iv only come across one issue with it and to be fair it only happens when using the duke class in LW of the chosen. Not sure if this is something you could help with?

everything with duke seems to work as it should, except for the "fan fire" skill. it seem like LWOC dose not accept dukes pistol as a equipped side arm. as such fan fire will tell you it has no ammo available. only way around this is to equip another pistol in the pistol slot itself. this makes fan fire work , but shows 2 pistols on duke oddly clipping with one another.

its slight but annoying. didn't know if there was a way around this many thanks

The console command should work regardless of the campaign status.

Yeah i did check the barracks, he wasnt there, just the character from the pool. Let me guess, is the problem that my campaign was still at the beginning?

Are you sure it didn't work? The command doesn't give you any feedback, it just adds him to the barracks.

AddDukeToCrew command doesn't work. i enabled the console, the cheats, and it didn't work. tried in-mission, on the avenger, nothing, i'm only staying with the default character from the pool. how does this work? i'm kinda new to wotc and these mods

@RakkoHug~<3 Tried it with covert Infiltration, the mission works and you get the duke and the twins. Only one issue though I encountered recently, was that the pipe bomb ability didnt appear on one mission and the brass knuckle punch didnt appear when drinking beer. But rest of my campaign, most of the abilities worked as intended.

Not sure if the mission will work properly with Covert Infiltration, but the Duke's items will definitely be broken by Prototype Armory.

LWOTC classes have one extra rank. This is not an LWOTC class. Normal soldier classes aren't supposed to get more than four XCOM row perks. LWOTC classes get more because they have custom XCOM row decks set up for them. This class doesn't. Because it's not an LWOTC class.

Hey there, great mod, works great. A few issues though. Playing with LWotC, it seems Duke's max rank is Gunnery Sgt. So the last available column is the one with Shrink Ray. Just wondering if that's by design or if I'm not seeing something due to promo screen mods.
Secondly, his XCOM row often has missing choices for different ranks leaving holes in the row. Again just wondering if that's by design or some kinda conflict.
Otherwise, everything seems to work great.

I understand that this mod didn't designed to work with the Invisible Body Parts For All. But, as said earlier, it used to work before. Well, I guess I should go bother the Invisible Body Parts For All's author instead as it is the one that update breaks the usability.

The mod was designed to work with the old Invisible Heads. Invisible Body Parts For All didn't exist back then.

I use Invisible Body Parts For All (v1.3) and, while back when it was in v1.2, I can assign the invisible head to Duke. However, after that mod updated to 1.3, I'm unable to assign invisible head to Duke anymore. Now he has head clipping while it look quite okay when viewed upfront but, when viewed from the top, there is a bald head sticking out.

Can you look into it or do I need to contact the Invisible Body Parts For All (v1.3)'s author?

хмм...в интерфейсе повышения не добавляется 8 ранг. конфиги чистил, нового дюка спавнил, все-равно выглядит все как по дефолту. единственно - иконка повышения появляется, но ui старый: ни 8 ранга, ни полосы прокрутки. может где жестко прописано, что 7 и все.

стоит Lwotc, и ,точнее, ultimate сборка от MNG. Но, на взгляд, пользователя интегрировалось seamless midcampaign, хотя код мода на дюка я не смотрел, не дорос ещё до modbuddy.
относительно дерева навыков, правильно ли я понимаю, что workaround будет уволить текущего, накинуть 8 ранг через classdata, добавить нового через консоль и уже качать нового?

Бомбы проверю. Есть ненулевой шанс что это из-за лвотц, с которым этот мод не совместим из коробки.
Изменение дерева абилок не повлияет на текущего Дюка.

в оружейном сете дюка (магнитное=расширенный арсенал) пропали pipe bobms. на тактикал миссии нет даже иконки броска. экипирую конвеншн сет=стандартный арсенал все появляется. в конфигах не нашел противоречий. что это может быть?
и второй вопрос: дюку 8 ранг(brigadier) в midcampaign можно назначить с какими нибудь абилками? применится на текущего дюка?
