Yes it wasn't updated for a while. Search workshop, most likely other people continued to maintain/develop it

Mod dont work

To those posting this doesn't work, unless I'm missing something this is now a feature in the base game.

not see module or turrets in LAB tab

This mod appears to have broken my save as of today's date. The research tab in game doesn't display any of your modules or turrets thus you cannot progress past a certain point in the game.

Since the mod is broken and you have stated you aren't maintaining mods anymore, don't you think the patreon link should maybe come out?

Need an update for 2.2 , it broke the vanilla research if you try the auto research. My favorite mod when it works

Latest update to the game which adds a quote 'QoL feature, auto reasearch trash' unquote broke this mod.
I press the research button but nothing happens.

Personally I prefer this mod's method of auto research, the new feature of the update is a bit indiscriminate on research, mixing by grade rather then doing it by type.

Do I have to enable this somewhere? I have the mod and its dependence installed but at a research station I do not see anything that would indicate this mods is working.

has anyone yet taken up the mantle?

When I click the "Auto Research" button while in the research lab the button flickers and nothing happens. I have "All" selected.

I am currently running the latest stable avorion and the current version of this mod that is available in the workshop... so here's the one issue i come across and my current "workaround" I am able to use the mod and it pretty much works as it is supposed to, but it seems to get "overloaded". What I mean by this is that after a while it just kinda stops doing the research. I have to stop the server, start it again, log back in and then i am able to resume the research until it gets overloaded again.. I am able to keep doing this until it works through all the research. I am assuming that there is some buffer or something getting chocked and some overflow or some shit in scrip memory... does some know if there is a way to "reload" scripts on a server without having to constantly shut it down and restart the server and then start the client again? Otherwise amazing mod since my god it would be the biggest PITA to research stuff when you have like over 1000 items to go through lol. :)

I'm sorry but I stopped developing mods for an unknown amount of time because of real life stuff. You're free to fork my mods as long as you provide link to original and mention me in the authors.

HOW is this not in the base game btw... it is unbelievable how we have a hard limit on inventory slots.... and system upgrades do not acutally stack with each other... and how research is just cancerous to do late game

Just to be sure, because this gets missed VERY easily - Are you using this with an existing save?
If so, you need to check a box in the Top-Right of the Load save screen to make sure it overwrites the per-save mod list.

I down loaded all the reqired struff but when i go into a research station I dont see an auto research button every thing looks the same, am I missing something, mod does not seem to work

Talon, if you added the mod to a existing galaxy, you need to tick the "override" mod checkbox once when you load it. If this won't work please attach logs, I can't figure out the issue without info.

well i downloaded and activated the mod ingame but nothing in the research stations did change ive only got the required mods (azimuthLib and Researchstation Lib) next to your auto Research installed

nvm my server just didnt update the mod so i needed to forcefully remove and then re add the mod

i cant seem to get the mod to work with the latest avorion update, all the UI elements are there but clicking the button does nothing.

Oh, no blame towards you Rinart73, is my own fault for not paying attention there. I just saw a new option and was just "Oh, what does this button do?"

Anyways, just meant I can replace everything with something better in the end.

I appreciate the mod and have been using it for a long time. The research part of the game is one of the most annoying parts to me, and this makes it palatable.

Dumpshock, ouch, sorry to hear that. Maybe I'm not very good at explaining. After normal research where it combines, say 5 hyperspace upgrades it will start researching by mixing types: 2 hyperspace, 2 civilian turret, 1 energy generator subsystem

* Added checkbox "Research selected types together" that will firstly research items of the same type and then will research items of any type (from the list you selected). Good for clearing inventory.

Heh, yeah, definitely good for clearing inventory.

Didn't at first fully understand how this worked, accidentally cleared out all of my good Subsystem items by combining them all together.

Lesson learned I guess.

Pfann, mod was tested up to Avorion 1.3.5, but it still could work with higher versions.
In your case, you forgot to install required mods. On this page in the right column you can see two required mods: "AzimuthLib - Library for modders" and "Research Station Lib".
Normally when you subscribe to a mod, Steam will notify you that you also need to subscribe to required mods.
