Well i prefer starter vehicles and small trailers for them
Smokki  [author] Mar 11 @ 11:45am
It would be quite easy to add hinge on the back and then it would be compatible with quite some trailers in the workshop I think.

I think a small trailer would be nice for this

@Cavgunner Nice review, couldn't have put it better myself.
Cavgunner Oct 6, 2019 @ 8:30pm
The PV-4 is a great starter vehicle. It is so small and simple that even a noob casual can quickly assemble it from random parts. It is quite light as well, so it can easily reach speeds of over 50 m/s.

The PV-4 carries just enough cargo to be useful and the onboard ore detector can help you locate deposits in the early game. It's also quite handy for retrieving cargo drops. Later in the game, the PV-4 remains useful as a people-mover for situations when a flyer would be impractical.

It's very easily to flip the PV-4 by turning too hard at speed. The PV-4 also sags when loaded with cargo, and can bottom out easily. On gently rolling hills just keep your speed to around 40 m/s unloaded, and 30 m/s loaded and you should be fine.

The PV-4 has an onboard repair projector. You'll need it. I should also mention that due to its extremely light weight the PV-4 is not suitable for low-G environments , but it LOVES Mars.

Simple, practical, useful. 9/10 would Dukes of Hazzard again.

@Tom Foolery Indeed, it's a slightly modified version of this. You should also be able to find the ATV-8D, though it's been modified much more than this.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but this rover is one of the ships available for purchase at NPC stations in the public test. I used Midspace's Admin Helper to check, and it's in the list of prefabs.

@UncausedZeus Thanks and enjoy :) Also drive safely :P

@gray pre owned 2010 mazda 3 Do you mean those buildings? All those screenshots are taken in this world: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1640522219

What are the other blueprints in the screenshots?
Smokki  [author] Apr 14, 2019 @ 11:28am
@Walk'N You can try to increase the gyroscope strength and override settings.
Walk'N Apr 14, 2019 @ 11:27am
When the vehicle is on the back, it is difficult to return it to the place with the full inventory. I recommend a second gyro:KSmiley:

@Smokki

By all means, feel free to test with water mod.
Smokki  [author] Apr 14, 2019 @ 4:29am
@nukeguard You can also lower the suspension height and strength (as well as steering) for even more stability, those are as they are to account for the cargo weight. I often put maybe a bit too high top speeds and steering as I'm quite accustomed to driving carefully :P
nukeguard Apr 14, 2019 @ 3:22am
I slowed all these vehicles max speed to 50km/h in the world and they drive absolutely fine at top speed(50km/h)

@Smokki Thanks! I give it a try :)
Smokki  [author] Apr 14, 2019 @ 2:08am
@Onyx_Rex Thank you and that's a really nice looking ship :) Even if it's meant for space I kind of want to test it with water mod :D

@Herr Hauptfeld
@erisco

I like to use the "capsule" voxel tool to make roads. To change voxel hand settings, press H while you have the "capsule" selected (the key might be different for you, I don't remember if I changed that).

I usually turn off the "Snap to voxel grid" setting and make the capsule less see-through (Brush transparency). Then adjust shape radius and length to my liking and start sculpting roads. You can change the voxel material with the buttons you would change the color of blocks. Right click to remove and left click to add voxels. Also middle mouse button to paint with the currently selected material.

It does take quite some time to get used to and a lot of patience to make good looking roads, good luck :)

I'd also love to know how to make these beatiful roads from your images :)
erisco Apr 13, 2019 @ 5:49pm
@Smokki Love it. How did you so beautifully edit the terrain for those screenshots? Everything I try to do with voxel hands is crude and jagged.
Jay-ar | Tradeit.gg Apr 13, 2019 @ 5:09pm
I really like this thing, super cool. I honestly wish i was this good without mods.

Speaking of which, if it's not to much trouble to others, could you please review my ship that I built?

Here's the link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1711276743

I don't care if they are good or bad, just please give me the feed back.
Smokki  [author] Apr 13, 2019 @ 4:43pm
@Bones of Steel Never too late to start tinkering with :) And thank you!
Endington Apr 13, 2019 @ 4:38pm
I really like your 'vehicle family' variants concept. Ground vehicles is an entire realm I wish I had tinkered with. Well done!
Smokki  [author] Apr 13, 2019 @ 3:52pm
@frostburnphoenix If used as a racing vehicle, Argonaut Industries is not accountable for any damage to property or loss of life. Also, all use of PV-4 is considered "racing".
Frostburnphoenix Apr 13, 2019 @ 3:36pm
its not a racing vehicle? *proceeds to use it in a racing fashion*
Smokki  [author] Apr 13, 2019 @ 2:18pm
@Rayzon Thank you! There will be two more vehicles for the "set" probably tomorrow. I quite like how these turned out to be, each having a little bit different purpose and functionality :)
Glaixber Apr 13, 2019 @ 2:00pm
Great as always, nice to see the "officialized" vehicles from Carcosa Valley.
Minimal design to save on costs and keeping the ease of use and functionality.
Easily a top pick for a survival scenario (any vehicle from the set), very budget friendly.
Nice work. ;)
Smokki  [author] Apr 13, 2019 @ 11:21am
@gyulian
1) I would first place down a small grid landing gear, then one small battery to provide power and the projector block on top of that.

2) Add a control panel on that small battery and few normal armor blocks leading away from the projector block (so you can remove these when the construction is ready).

3) Access the projector using the control panel and load any blueprint you like. You'll have to do some manual adjustment using the projector sliders to get the projected blueprint connected to those few armor blocks.

4) If those armor blocks are properly connected to the projection and you have components to weld, you should be able to start building it. It can be quite tedious project to weld by hand, but doable. Good luck, and if you need more help, feel free to ask. :)
gyulian Apr 13, 2019 @ 11:14am
ty, i will try :)
Bug!! Apr 13, 2019 @ 11:06am
If you make a small projector, you can project the blueprint and weld it with the parts in your inventory.
gyulian Apr 13, 2019 @ 11:01am
how can i do to spawn this in my survival game?
